Kick Back Cabin

We had a great time, the house was quiet and comfortable. We woke up to see hot air balloons every morning. Short drive to the Wolf Creek Ski area. Enjoyed a dip in the hot springs and first time seeing skijoring.

The checkout process was last minute and not clear. Suggestion for future guests - print a copy and put instructions in the guest binder.

Above all, the view. Opening the living room shades each morning to the mountains and watching for deer, foxes, birds and hot air balloons. The house feels like a home. There is tons of space, the furniture is comfortable. You have everything you need in the large kitchen. The location is also great. We were there in the winter and went to wolf creek and other mountain activities most days. The 40 min drive feels super short because of the beautiful views. But you are also walking distance to restaurants, grocery, a great coffee shop and even crossfit. The main strip of pagosa is super close and you can even hop on a bus to take you there just a couple blocks from the house.

My family loved everything about this house. However, if you're looking for something modern and new, this isn't it. This is a well loved home and doesn't feel like your standard hip bnb. If I were to buy this home, the only thing I would do is add a fireplace.
