Really by far, the best thing about this property is the location. It is situated right around the corner from Blvd Saint Germain on Rue de Buci in the heart of the 6th arr. It is a few meters away from the Mabillon Metro. There are many restos and interesting shops nearby. There's a Carrefour nearby and farther but within walking distance a Monoprix. It is a remodeled apartment and, though smaller than we thought looking at the photos, the beds were extremely comfortable and the two showers excellent. We thought there was a problem with one light. Arnaud was easy to reach and very attentive. Our trip was in winter and the heating system was excellent. Very secure building. If you arrive before the allowed check in time of 16:00, there is a cafe on the corner. Pull up a chair and have a glass of wine or un cafe...or both- you're in Paris! P.S. This apartment does require a security deposit which will be charged to your account 7 days before you arrive. In all fairness, it was mostly reimbursed 7 days upon vacating: Merci, Arnaud.
1) Upon arriving a third code was needed to enter the apartment door. Nowhere in the 27 page welcome packet was this mentioned! You will need Wi Fi to access the code or the phone number of Arnaud to give you this third code. 2)The building dates back centuries with the original beams kept intact. Charming, yes, but the doorways of both bedrooms and also inside one of the bedrooms, there were cross beams at about 5ft 1 in I am 5'6" so this was an awkward situation especially in the dark. I had to hang a white hand towel over one of these beams as a reminder. Also, the "third bed" was not in another bedroom. It was in an alcove of the bedroom with the skylight. This alcove also had the 5' ceiling. Good for children sharing their parents room, perhaps? In my opinion, this problem with the low beams should have been explained. 3) It's a nice solid building (no street noise through the closed windows) BUT when we were there in February, 2026, the property was under construction (either the same building or directly next door - difficult to tell by the exterior scaffolding ) We stayed ten days and there was loud construction noise all day- every weekday. Fortunately we spent most of the daytime out. 4) The elevator did NOT stop at our first floor apartment. My travel companion had knee issues so this was inconvenient. We specifically booked an apartment that listed having an elevator. It exists but it could not stop at the 1st. This is obviously for structural reasons but it was inconvenient. Note: the ad does say "elevator for upper floors." I missed that. The stairs to the first floor were listed as "very wide". They began wide but they narrowed as the stairway ascended...classic older building w/circular staircase. There were a few minor issues: a slow drain in one of the bathrooms and upon arrival, a very unpleasant smell emanating from the hall bathroom/toilet area. It DID go away by the second day.

La ubicación es lo mejor del alojamiento a 15 mins del Louvre es genial. Es muy espacioso, aunque habían un par de puertas que tenias que agacharte para pasar, realmente no es un gran problema solo tener un poco de cuidado, éramos una familia de 8 miembros y estuvimos muy cómodos, contaba con dos baños. El alojamiento estaba en una calle con muchos bares, contaba con Carrefour cerca y otros restaurantes a su alrededor. También estaba muy bien comunicado con RER y metro. Fue una muy buena estancia.
La primera noche se escuchaba musica del local de abajo hasta la 1:30am (era jueves), curiosamente al día siguiente que era viernes no hubo.

The spacious apartment with washer and dryer, great kitchen perfect for families, complete with tools. Bathrooms ok a bit small size though. Amazing location!!
The low entrance, almost bump our heads. The beds and pillow a bit uncomfortable.

The location
Property was not ready on our arrival. We have received a small refund, but it was not ready until the evening. there was not enough cups and glasses for 8 people, and it should be explained that one of the double beds in the shared room is basically in a hole in the wall.
