Very cute, We liked the countryside touches, the big fridge and other appliances, and the little table. Nice how shower too.

The pillows seemed old and overly soft. They irritated my neck a bit. Toilet sweet didn’t stay up which was annoying, and the utensil drawer needed a few more knives/ other bits for food prep.

Very peaceful and quiet, spotlessly clean and excellent value for money.

The bathroom was quite small and there was no sink, but otherwise everything was absolutely fine.

It was nice and quiet, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, complimentary tea and coffee was supplied, it was easy to find and within walking distance of a lovely pub. I'd booked this as a birthday treat, to relax with my spouse as it looked so pretty, inviting, serene and was available to book for stays of one night.

Sadly I was really disappointed how it looked on arrival compared with the photographs Unfortunately, Cobweb Cottage did not quite live up to our expectations based on the photographs and description when we booked. The room itself was clean, which we appreciated, although there was a noticeable damp smell during our stay which was unpleasant. Our biggest disappointment was the outside areas. The gardens looked beautiful, well maintained and inviting in the photographs, but when we arrived they were noticeably overgrown and untidy and didn't have the same appearance at all. The hot tub area was also disappointing and, compared with how it looked in the photographs, we didn't find it particularly appealing or inviting. The pathway leading to it took us over a small wooden bridge and this was broken and uneven. We do appreciate that the hosts are probably busy and completely understand that priorities change but feel the photographs currently being used to advertise the cottage don't reflect the condition of the gardens and outside areas that we experienced. We chose the cottage partly because of the beautiful outdoor space shown in the photographs, so the difference was quite disappointing. I don't remember seeing the fire pit area, the hammocks weren't inviting and we hadn't realised there were chickens roaming. This wasn't a problem, we just had to dodge the chicken poop. The cottage itself was clean and there were certainly positives to our stay, but overall we felt that the property was not quite as we expected and hope the hosts will take this feedback constructively, as updating the photographs to reflect the current condition would help future guests have a more accurate idea of what to expect.
