Whether you’re craving a peaceful couples retreat or a family getaway, this bespoke shepherd’s cabin situated on a Countryside Park provides a place to call home surrounded by the breathtaking South Norfolk countryside. The quaint surrounding village of Banham is located in the unspoilt area of Breckland, where you’ll find sandy heathland and wildlife habitats, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. There is a fabulous selection of independent shops in the village, as well as the fantastic Banham Zoo, which is set in 50 acres of magnificent parkland. Known for its charming heritage and thriving local market, pick up some of this area’s best local produce from the historic market town of Diss, 8 miles away. Keen outdoor adventurers can enjoy a blood-pumping day at Thetford Forest (16 miles), with mountain bike trails and canopy-top obstacle courses to conquer, plus some beautiful picnic spots.
Set amongst four other idyllic shepherd’s cabins, this inviting rural escape makes the most of indoor/outdoor living and enjoys a delightful contemporary finish that adds a sense of sophistication. Across the lovely, decked terrace and through the large set of French doors, you’re greeted with a light and bright studio-style open-plan living/kitchen/dining/sleeping space. The beautiful, curved ceiling adds a cosiness and homeliness that beckon tired travellers to unwind on the plush sofa. Offering true versatility, the sofa can be converted into a bed to accommodate an additional guest. The compact kitchenette provides budding chefs a space to prep some delicious local delicacies that can be enjoyed seated around the contemporary farmhouse-style dining set. Wash off a day on the local trails in the sleek, contemporary wet room before retiring to the peaceful king-size bed, which is tucked away in a quiet spot to one side of the shepherd’s cabin. Two single beds above the king-size bed provide space for the whole family.
Throw open the French doors and spill out on the picturesque, decked terrace to enjoy dining alfresco and soaking up the serenity of your surrounding scenery. There is designated parking behind the shepherd’s cabin.
