We came for the sight and sounds of the sea in a peaceful location and were not disappointed.

View of sea and coastline from terrace and seating area were superb. Also the quality and design of the purpose built accommodation was admirably quirky and highly impressive. Bathroom was the pick of the rooms. Underfloor heating was perfect.

Beds and sofa were too soft to be fully comfortable and the purpose of the mezzanine area was unclear - needed to stoop to walk around and no clear view out the skylight unless open and putting your head out? Instructions on heating controls would have been useful.

Apart from a few issues we enjoyed our stay and if we came back to Minehead we’d book it again.

Loved its quirkiness. The view was fantastic. The outside space was good too.

The shower flooded one morning we cleared it all up using the towels provided for our us, my partner then cleaned out the filter which hadn’t been cleaned properly for a while! I rang the number given and left a message about what happened but no-one got back to us. We saw the owner the next day and told him what had happened and he asked if we wanted more towels but we were ok because luckily we’d taken our own!

Perfect hiking weekend and a wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

The cabin is at a perfect location, on the hill, in the woods, by the sea, overlooking the beach. Secluded but close to all amenities. It's right on the coastal path (a few steps down the hill) and the hike we took westward was easy and pleasant. The cabin itself is clean, homey and filled with sunshine in the morning and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Nothing really. It would have been utmost convenient if body/hair shampoo were provided but we failed to take notice and went out to buy them from a supermarket.

Incredible views, easy access, comfortable and cozy.

The location and view were spectacular. I could see and hear the ocean from the cabin, and had easy walking access to the South West Coast Path as well as the town of Minehead. The space itself was comfortable and charming. An amazing place to stay!

Relaxing, peaceful and simply gorgeous.

Jeremy was so welcoming and greeted us on arrival. The cabin itself is simply amazing! My partner and I are super active but found that we just wanted to spend time in the beautiful cabin. Perfect location!

Absolutely love this place . Was so cosy . Spectacular views . Everything you need in a well organised space . Hosts was amazing . We stayed Christmas. And was welcomed with mince pies . Cookies and fizz. Thank you for our stay .didn't want to leave

Getaway and forget it all

The location of porthole cabin made us feel secluded but the town centre was a 5 minute walk away. It was quiet, cozy, clean with all the amenities. The bed was warm and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped with everything. Great size fridge freezer. The bathroom had a roomy, walk in shower and separate deep bath that was perfect for a long soak. It the cabin small but with a mezzanine that gave you a separate are to read, listen to music or doze. Plenty of room for two people. The balcony/terrace would be great on dry days. The view was stunning. We were there during a storm and the sound of the sea and the rain was beautiful and hypnotic.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like. I was so relaxed I forgot to take pics of the interior
