Character, charm, gorgeous views from the balcony and warm friendly hosts 10/10

Luca and Federica are the perfect hosts and the type of holiday house owners that make a holiday so memorable. Super welcoming, generous with their assistance and advice and their gorgeous, character-filled property is perfectly located in Lucca, only a 15 minutes walk from the train station. We LOVED our stay at Terazza Coccode, the highlight is definitely the balcony overlooking the hills behind Lucca; very dreamy.

Excellent well furnished apartment in a lovely area.

The apartment had everything you would need and more. The hosts met us with keys. What a lovely couple. Nothing was too much trouble. Exceptionally clean. Very spacious apartment with a large terrace area. I travelled with four friends and we had plenty of room. We were five minutes walk from bars shops and restaurants. The hosts left us breakfast items, tea, coffee, water and toiletries. I walk to shops myself and felt very safe. I would recommend highly.

We had a wonderful time and the apartment was perfect.

The host kept in constant contact via Bookings communication email/text. They arranged to meet us at the apartment on time and took time to explain about the facilities and provided general information about the area. They were very nice and welcoming. Would recommend to friends and family, the location was excellent and apartment was spacious with a great balcony overlooking Lucca.

A great experience in a traditional Italian apartment.

The apartment was spacious with gorgeous furniture, the beds were comfortable, it was heated well, the kitchen had everything we needed.

The stairs are quite steep so you need to take care when walking down them.

Federica and Luca are wonderful hosts! The apartment is a little gem! Clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. Great location to parking (for us) and the train station. Loved our stay. The hosts met us on arrival to offer help with luggage and information. Warm and friendly start to our visit to Lucca. Balcony was great to enjoy views with a morning coffee or evening wine. My brother in law left his tablet and earbuds. Federica retrieved them and set up mailing! Thank you so much for being so very prompt and helpful! 💕

Little gem with charm and great hospitality

We had a wonderful stay (family of five) in Lucca. The apartment was perfect and comfortable for our family equipped with everything we needed. The location within Lucca was excellent. Short walk from the train station. The apartment was spacious and well layed out. Enjoyed the large patio. The host met us at the door and were very helpful.

Traveled two weeks in Italy and stayed at 4 different locations. This was the only stay that we had no negatives. One of the nicest places we have stayed in. Far exceeded our expectations.

Great apartment in heart of town with caring hosts who’ve created a homey comfortable stay.

The apartment was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. My daughter wanted to move in permanently to the room and terrace with comfy couch and lovely view.

The apartment is beautifully designed was clean and spacious. The hosts were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The location of apartment is great, in a quiet but central location and has nice views of the city. Aside of lack of A/C, the apartment's facilities were good.

We expected air-conditioning in all the rooms (but only the attic has A/C). There are many stairs to and in the apartment.

Fantastic service early in the morning (Saturday before 0600) after checking out and realizing that I forgot my phone in the appartment. The host arrived 15 minutes after I sent a message via Booking.com!

Lovely Lucca to explore then a terrace to relax on afterwards

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The terrace was my favourite part with lovely far reaching views to the hills over Tuscan roofs. We were met at the train station by Luca which was greatly appreciated after a hot and tiring journey then joined Frederica at the apartment. Charming hosts and a charming apartment. So many places to visit easily by train but another time as too hot in July - we will just have to return!

There are a lot of stairs but that is the price you pay for a view.

Fantastic balcony, great location, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen. Very welcoming hosts. Lots of local history books and suggestions for excursions left out for us. A lovely place to stay for a family or 2 couples.

One of the bathrooms is on a different storey to the bedrooms.

Everything about this apartment was perfect! The rooms were clean and a good size, the terrace was amazing!! and location was really central. Federica and Luca were on hand for any queries, and were really helpful with recommending good restaurants & parking. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

This is a great place to stay. We were a couple but great for two couples or a family. Extremely good communication from very kind hosts with tips on things to do and where to eat. Very well equipped with comfortable sitting room. Full, large, well equipped kitchen if you want to do some self catering. Great location. 5 minutes from train station AND from city centre. Best of all a lovely terrace to enjoy beautiful views and complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommended. PS I don't know why Booking.com app shows a frowning face emoji when you give a good review???

La Terrazza Coccode is the perfect place to explore Lucca from. In a quiet back street only minutes from all the attractions, only a 5 minute walk to the station. The terrace has stunning views over to the hills. It has all the facilities you could need with air conditioning in the terrace room. Frederica & Luca were fantastic hosts
