We ❤️ At Thara!

Natty her husband and the team are wonderful hosts. So kind and helpful, we had a beautiful time ❤️. Natty and her husband make you feel so at home! The accommodation was perfect to suit our needs, we were cool and very comfortable. A short walk away is a 7eleven, a beautiful beach a pier to take a boat to the islands and the landmark Market is around a 20 min wall from At Thara. Natty and her husband offer to arrange transport, trips via boat or taxi..so helpful. Speak to them if you want to book a tour or day trip! Food was delicious too!!

Nice and good for 1 or 2 nights but not long stay

the location is convenient and next to the beach.

The staff was very nice at the beginning but then rude and hangry for the money and started to charge me hidden fees and act rude and annoyed when I left. the pool was green at the bottom and I didn’t dare going in

Fabulous four nights in Ao Nang thanks to Natty!

Natty and her staff super friendly, told us about lots of hidden gems. Fantastic food, lovely stay comfy bed and loved how kind and welcoming they were. Nearby to the night market and lots of fantastic places! Would recommend, thanks for a brilliant stay 😊

Great spot. Fantastic host

Its was a little out the way compared to where we had stayed but only a 10 minute bolt from the centre which is what we needed. Its the first place we had been that we felt hosted. She met us on arrival, showed us to the room and gave us some advice on where to go and nice places to eat, she made drinks and cooked for us and brought it to the room , we slept in on a day trip we booked and she came and woke us up to make sure we didn't miss the taxi and then asked us about our day when we got back... a really lovely woman I would happily extend my stay to a week there

You are in the trees so you do have to get used to the noise . The cicadas scream from sun up to sun set but this is all part of the experience

We planned a few trips whilst staying at the accommodation and used it as a low cost base point.

We knew what we were getting for accommodation before we arrived, so it was as expected. The food we ordered was very good and we had breakfast and dinner. We used the small pool and sitting area most days and enjoyed the facilities. The beds were comfy and nothing was a problem for the staff.

Lovely stay for 11 nights

Is it a small but lovely place to stay. We stayed there for 11 nights. There is a very friendly and helpful stuff. If we had some questions or requests, the owner always helped us. She also recommended few places to visit. You can also rent a scooter at this place for a good price. The location is good, too. It takes around 5 minutes to get to the beach or night market by the scooter. Also other destinations are in close proximity. It is located next to the road but it was always quite.

Great place, great host, would came again

Clean, well maintained, with love put into details. The hostess is like a mama, she is always there to help you and cooks for you whenever you get hungry. Portions are big, btw 😁

It might be a bit far for some people, but I liked it because of this reason even more. It’s super quiet, unless you have noisy other guests.

Sunshine and Natty take well care of you.

All services are offered by the landlord: laundry, massage, food, coffee. Natty and Sunshine are available all the time. They have all sorts of activities suggestions. They also arrange your transport back to the airport.

His Dog attacked me.

During my stay his dog attacked me, biting my arm once and attempting to attack me once again. He is a big dog and I didn't do him any harm, he is on a chain at the entrance to the main area of the hotel for everyone to see. When I asked, they did not give me evidence of the dog's vaccination nor did they want to take care of my medical expenses related to the attack by his dog. From this hotel I took away more than 500usd in medical expenses and a wound on my arm. My beach days on vacation are ruined. Don't go to this hotel.

At Thara at ao nang

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, scooter available at good price, room was clean with a smart tv and excellent air con, and food available was great. Location was quiet and away from the busy areas but just a short scooter from everything, overall excellent value.

The atmosphere of At Thara is welcoming and homey. We had a wonderful stay.

Our bungalow was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed staying at the resort, chilling on the terrace or by the pool. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They made our stay memorable by taking us to the nearby beaches. Also Natty is a wonderful cook - all the dishes we had were delicious and could be made vegetarian. We hope to come back some day. ☀️🏖️🌊

Location is quite far from the beach, but for us it was not a problem because we enjoy walking. For those who may not enjoy it so much, renting a scooter is a good idea (which is available at the resort as well)

I was tired after weeks of hostels and had a super relaxed night At Thara. I energized a lot, because of the nice room, but also because the host is very kind. She even made me breakfast!

you are dependent on the scooters and they are a bit old and a bit sketchy, but they work, and it’s what you get at a more local place like this

Fun glow in a bungalow!!

What an awesome lil find! Away from the tourist traps and close to the best beach, this sweet home stay kinda set up was perfect for us! So good, in fact, that we stayed extra nights! The couple who run it are super friendly and cook a good breakfast! We prefer to support small businesses over hotel chains and will be back! But please don't tell everyone or we won't get a room!! 😁😄

Nice cozy clean modern rooms. Nice and friendly owners. NEVER EVER rent a Scooter from them, really unpleasant and expensive experience. Other than I can absolutely recommend staying there. :)

DONT RENT THEIR SCOOTERS!!! (Scooter battery died midway through our trip. After a 30-45min. stop it would not start again, we had to cancel our visit to the Temple and Emeraldpools and had to wait a couple hours in a parking lot for a taxi they sent us, it was 1800Baht for 1 way and we still had to pay for the defective scooter (which was not our fault!) that ruined our only day we had in Krabi. So yeah just rent elsewhere!)

Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The bed is so comfortable! Air conditioning was perfect! Hired a bike through the property and they made it very easy and affordable. Brilliant, fun, great location and great host!

Had an amazing stay here! It had everything we needed, all the staff were so helpful and friendly, even helping us book onward travel and giving ideas for where to explore during the day time. Rooms were very clean and comfy, great tasty and reasonable breakfasts too!

We didn’t have a hot shower but i’m sure if we had brought it up she would’ve fixed it :) we didn’t mind too much!

The property provided scooters to rent as it was far out and the staff were nice people. The double bed was comfortable.

We were disappointed with this stay due to the pictures online made it seem bigger and nicer. Didn’t go in the pool as it just looked dirty all the time which was a shame, didn’t see any other guests in it either. There was no privacy in the rooms as the sheet covering the door doesn’t do anything, we had to cover it with a towel. When we went to bed there were rats running around in the ceiling, which was very uncomfortable for us. The owner is only around in the early morning. Also didn’t like that she had my passport in her bag and carried it around with her, would be better in a safe in case something happened..

Natty is the BEST host. super helpful and very kind. assists with your transportation, as well as itineraries. cooks an amazing Massaman chicken curry. i even extended my stay an extra night because of how relaxed the environment at this property is. 5 min walk away from 7-eleven in case you need to pick up supplies or snacks. 10/10 highly recommend would definitely re-book the next time i’m in town.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Natty was so helpful and she went above and beyond for us, making sure we were comfortable. The A/C was great. The Wifi was excellent. The pool was refreshing after long hot days! The food was great and an even better price. The TV had Netflix!! We slept really well in the comfy bed and the quiet area!

The most welcoming people

Lovely spacious rooms and relaxing pool right outside. Stayed for one night and Natty and the team made me feel so welcome, they were so kind, even giving me a lift to the beach nearly. I had a lovely breakfast the next day, if you are in Ao Nang I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back 😊

The owners were very friendly & welcoming, they were good for advising where to go in Ao Nang as well as other islands to visit. The food was good, the rooms were clean, pool was clean and good place for relaxing. It was easy enough to get to Ao Nang beach, if the owners didn't take you themselves then could get a tuk tuk and wasn't expensive. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Ao Nang in the future 😁
