Wir waren über Pfingsten in der Villa Uhlenhorst. Selten habe ich im Urlaub so gut geschlafen. Trotz der durchweg antiquarischen Möbel hat es nicht an Komfort gemangelt. Die Betten sind ein Traum, die Lage in dem hauseigenen "Park" großartig. Es war alles sehr durchdacht und praktisch. Es gab genügend Haken und Regale, bequeme Sitzmöbel und sogar im Bad genügend Regal mit Abstellmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück in sehr persönlicher Atmosphäre lässt keine Wünsche offen. Man merkt, dass Frau Heim die Pension mit extrem viel Herzblut 🤎 führt, und das macht sie aus. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus, in Wernigerode und überhaupt im Harz.

Die Pension wird inhabergeführt und ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Man fühlt sich wie Anfang 20. Jahrhundert. Alles ist ungemein detailgetreu, deshalb auch kein Fernseher, was mal richtig gut getan hat. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Lage am Waldrand ist sensationell.
