Absolutely beautifully furnished x everything was thought about x clean and stunning

We had an issue with the fridge as it didn’t work but was dealt with very quickly

Fantastic villa & great location- highly recommend

The villa is stunning, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The mattresses are very comfy but we had a couple of hiccups. The pool was warm on Thursday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Owner communicated politely, if not always quickly. Customer service at Booking.com compensated us for the problems

😏Tuesday check in. In late afternoon, a man came to the villa and said something about a problem with the fuse board. He did something, we don’t know what. Pool was cold. The internet signal was really poor. 😏Wednesday-Pool was cold and unusable. My son’s online meetings were very difficult with the bad internet. I got in touch with the owner and they came to check on the pool. 😏Friday-The power was off till mid afternoon. The shutters were stuck down, the only exit from the villa was the front door, the rest was in darkness. We had to use torches when we went for a shower with cold water. We couldn’t cook, the pool was cold again. Fridge and freezer were off and full of food. Our plans to go out for our son’s birthday had to be cancelled as we felt that the responsible thing to do was wait until the power came back on. We asked the owners if we could have a later check-out next tuesday to make up for the lost time. Our flights were not until evening. The owner said they would give it some thought and get back to us. 😄Saturday-pool was warm again. No response from the owner regarding checkout. 😄Sunday- pool was warm. Still no response regarding checkout. I messaged the owner again. That evening they let u us know that we would have to be gone by 10:30am 😏. 😏Monday-noisy building work at their villa next door. All in all we had 3 useful days at the villa out of the 7 we had paid for. We asked for suggestions on somewhere we could spend the day after checkout, the owner said she had rung a hotel near the airport to see if we could spend a couple of hours there. The owner said that the hotel said no. We drove to said hotel on our last day anyway and were made welcome. I’m not convinced that any phone call was made. We sat by the hotel pool and bought coffee and lunch before heading to the airport.
