Villa Paraíso del Mar con piscina privada

The villa is as it looks online, clean, spacious, good facilities and within walking distance to a few bars and restaurants. if you want to go further, taxi's arrive quickly. It is in a hilly area, so if you struggle with walking, it may not be an ideal location for you. The outside area and pool is great with an ocean view. It was a good size for a big family. Initially we were worried as there have been some bad reviews this year, but for us it was just what we needed. There was wifi throughout, more cutlery and crockery as well as a new kettle.

The villa could do with some slight updating. The air con is very old and tripped out often, however host was quick to fix. The hot water for showers also ran out quickly. The pool could have been cleaned more often especially as in a leafy/grassy garden, it did get slightly dirty towards the end of our stay. It would also be good to have a few more sunloungers as there were not enough for us all.

Sober en kaal, beetje vergane glorie. Niet genoeg zitplaatsen binnen voor 8 personen, zitje buiten ook maar voor 4-5 personen. Het zwembad filter werkte niet waardoor het na 3-4 dagen erg vies was. Host was onbereikbaar, reageerde pas na tussenkomst booking. De slaapkamer in de kelder was erg benauwd en warm. De hoogteverschillen vallen tegen, lopen naar de Lidl is 20-25 minuten met stevige klim. Naar het strand en het centrum is 15 minuten steil naar beneden, dat doe je ook niet voor je lol meer dan 1 keer per dag.

We were given access information for a different property, so it was not easy to find initially. I think this was an error by the hotel who held the keys and not the host. The house was great for a family holiday, good location and very comfortable. Parking is tricky and the garage was too narrow for our hire car but luckily we could park on the street.

There is no wifi upstairs at all. The TV upstairs cannot work because of the wifi issue. There were 2 problems with the TV downstairs but the host resolved them. Hot water was limited. The oven and dishwasher were a bit 'tired' but I would stay there again because the downsides were outweighed by the upsides :)
