Just great

Comfy bed, great breakfast with a good selection of quality cold cuts, cheeses, breads, all sorts of freshly prepared eggs.. and tasty coffee. Super friendly staff. The bathrobe came in handy to visit the Spa area and pool. Working WiFi and spacious parking.

Perfect weekend

Everything was really nice: nice big room with very comfortable bed, quiet area and great views. Easily accessible by car with enough parking place. Wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. Really good breakfast with lots of choices. Dinner also at the hotel's restaurant was very good and tasty. Staff was very friendly

Fantastic hotel!

The style is clean and modern. Breakfast was very good, and the option to have dinner there is also convenient. Food is upscale and inventive. The kids loved the pool.

I'd only suggest some artwork to make the style feel less sterile and masculine.

Beautiful location & great restaurant

Quiet and beautiful location in Ofterschwang, ready access to bike paths and hiking trails. We actually booked a different room but the staff helped us immediately with the issue and our stay was overall satisfying. The restaurant on the property served amazing local food that was creatively prepared. The breakfast was likewise super!

The junior suite we ended up staying in had the terrace and large window right by the hotel entrance, so it wasn’t very private. However for our relatively short stay and reasonable price, we were overall satisfied. There were loud children in the “wellness” area at times, and I think they shouldn’t be allowed there. There is a large public outdoor pool in the area that would be better suited for kids.

Peaceful location, attentive staff, excellent dining experience.

My family had a truly enjoyable holiday staying at Alpenhotel Dora. The location among rolling green hills and country lanes was the perfect getaway. There are trails within walking distance that overlook grazing cows and mountains. It’s only 30 minutes by car to both Oberstdorf and Kempten. The room was comfortable for our family of 4 and stocked daily with complimentary, non alc. drinks. We loved the indoor pool, which is large enough to swim laps and kept very clean. There is no shallow end so younger children would need floaties. Our dining experience here was 4 stars at least! We loved the seasonal dinner offerings every evening as well as our personalized breakfast each morning. The restaurant has multiple seating areas including a terrace so it felt like a private dining experience. We had room service one night that was punctual and just as tasty as in the restaurant. This small hotel provided friendly, attentive customer service that made our stay in the Allgau that much more relaxing.

Von Aussen wie von Innen eine sehr charmantes und liebevolles stilechtes Hotel mit super Gastgebern

Obwohl wir nur einen Kurzaufenthalt von 2 Nächten verbracht hatten, waren wir sehr begeistert. Wir reisten mit unserem 11 jährigen Sohn, der hatte sein eigenes Zimmer in unserer Suite, welches auch einen TV hatte, das Badezimmer wie auch die Dusche waren grösser als der Standart, in der Dusche hätten wir sogar zu dritt Platz gehabt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, vielseitig, frisch und regional geprägt. Wir nutzten täglich das kleine Hallenbad, welches gut temperiert war und uns für Sport und Spiel einlud. Wir werden dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen und da wir Freunde in der Region haben, dieses wieder besuchen.

Da wir meist spät am Hotel ankamen im Herbst, war es schon Dunkel und die Parkplätze die beleuchtet waren vor dem Hotel, waren dann schon alle besetzt und wir mussten auf dem Kiesplatz hinter dem Haus parken, welcher aber meist auch schon zugeparkt war und nicht beleuchtet, so dass das parken ein kleines Abenteuer war und wir zuerst die optimale Parkposition mit dem Licht des Handys suchten.

Mehr Schein als sein. Nettes Hotel, wenn man nicht hinter die Kulissen schaut.

Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage und das gemütliche Ambiente. Das Personal ist super freundlich kompetent. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Ein umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet war auch vorhanden. Das Hotel hat einen Pool und eine Sauna.

Teilweise renovierungsbedürftig. Durch die Holzbauweise auch etwas hellhörig. Der Wellnessbereich könnte etwas gepflegter sein. Bei uns im Bad war das Regal lose so dass man nichts drauf stellen konnte und der WC Deckel hatte einen Riss, das sollte nicht sein, das muss sofort ausgetauscht werden. Unter dem Tisch war noch Schmutz und eine Glasscherbe.

Das Freistil ist ein ganz besonderes Haus, ungewöhnlich im Vergleich zu üblichen Hotels, sehr persönlich und in seiner Größe überschaubar.

Die Küche ist toll das Hotel so lala

Toller Bergblick, gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, sehr freundliches Personal!

Der Wellnessbereich hat einen grossen Investitionsstau. Alles wenig ansprechend. Pool war sehr kalt und die Sauna sehr klein (für 2 Personen) und dunkel im Keller. Das Zimmer war ok. An vielen Ecken wurde gebastelt (indirekte Beleuchtung... wenn man auf dem Bett liegt sieht man den Kabelsalat) und rostige Ablagen in der Dusche müssen nicht sein.

Der Spa- Bereich würde sich über ein fresh-up erfreuen.

Ein Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Frühstück

Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut, es gab eine umfangreiche Auswahl an herrlichen Leckereien. Das dazugehörige Restaurant bietet hochwertige Speisen und spannende Kreationen.

Das Hotel scheint sich in einem gewissen Umbruch zu befinden; zum Teil wirkt das Haus sehr modern und neuwertig, zum anderen doch recht etwas in die Jahre gekommen, v.a. der Wellnessbereich im Untergeschoss.

Gerne wieder

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Hotel. Das Personal war ausserordentlich nett, Immer freundlich und gut gelaunt. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war lecker. Wobei das Abendessen ( für Deutschland ) preislich im höheren Bereich lag. Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat jedoch gestimmt. Das Zimmer war gross. Das Einzige war das Bett welches für meinen Mann zu hart war.

Das Frühstück war Weltklasse 👍.

Das Grundstück ist insgesamt ungepflegt, das Hotel konzentriert sich sehr stark auf die Küche (gehobener Anspruch angestrebt, im Vergleich mit anderen Restaurants in der Umgebung aber viel zu teuer im Vergleich zur Leistung). Das Schwimmbad und Sauna sind leider nicht empfehlenswert (nicht sauber, kaum Badehandtücher).

Toller Kurztrip -- sehr zu empfehlen

Das Frühstück und das Essen im Allgemeinen war einfach hervorragend. Alle Servicekräfte und Mitarbeiter waren zu jeder Zeit sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, sodass man sich herzlich willkommen fühlte. Besser geht es kaum! Der Pool ist nicht beheizt, aber sehr sauber; es gibt auch einige Spielutensilien --- die Sauna ist eher klein, aber auch zu empfehlen. Generell ist alles sehr sauber gewesen und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
