Great volunteer staff. Clean rooms and all around cool place and people.
It’s 5 flight of stairs up to the hostel. They don’t count the bottom floor as a floor. So there’s that. I extended my stay and they were wonderful to help me but my last night I was in the 4 person bunk room that was not as nice as the 8 person room. Was hot.

Location is ideal if you intend to see the historic center.
Area is not ideal if you are looking for a clean lodging facility. The online photos are quite deceiving. Sheets are super worn out, room has a smell and is not well-ventilated and well-lighted. Despite staying in a separate private room, this is not a place if you are looking for peaceful sleeps, and remote-working. In-room wifi is not available.
