Very well appointed and clean kitchen and bedrooms.

The smell of the water. Bathroom was dated and the shower cramped.

Superb location if you want a relaxing break getting back to nature this is the place for you. Just listen to the birds singing and the sound of the river..

The water from the tap smells a bit like eggs,big deal get over it and just enjoy the cosy cottage Light the log burner pour a glass of wine and chill.

Well equipped and splendidly isolated.

The water supply - but we understand the problem and were prepared with bottled water.

Generally well equipped and comfortable. Kitchen equipment and appliances good. Beds comfortable. Lovely forest walks all around and pretty streams and waterfalls.

Access through the forest was partly along rough, at times quite steep forest track, more suited to 4x4 vehicles. Would be helpful if distance in miles from Devils Bridge was included in instructions. The sulphurous odour of the water supply which is from a bore hole was most unpleasant. Apparently it is drinkable but wouldn’t like to risk it so a good supply of bottled water is necessary. No bathroom as such just very basic shower cubicle and separate toilet. Adequate but not great and you need to brave the smell of sulphur ‘bad eggs’ when you shower, flush the toilet or use any tap water. Ok it dissipates fairly quickly but unfortunately it spoilt the experience for us.
