Our experience at this property was so shockingly bad that it left us speechless. The moment we arrived—exhausted, carrying our luggage after a 16-hour journey with no sleep—we were greeted with a cold, unfriendly, and dismissive attitude from the receptionist. Before even allowing us to see the room, she demanded a 1000 THB deposit, delivered more like an order than a standard procedure. We politely asked to view the room before paying, and it was immediately clear that this simple request annoyed her. She eventually brought us to the room, which was obviously already clean and ready. Since it was ready, we asked if we could check in a bit early because we were completely exhausted. Her response was a rude and blunt: “100 baht to enter early.” In all our years traveling in Thailand, we have never encountered such a fee delivered with such hostility. Despite her attitude, we agreed to pay the deposit and wait until 2 PM for the official check-in. But from that moment on, everything went downhill. Without any valid reason, the receptionist suddenly decided she wanted to cancel our reservation against our will. She repeatedly said she would call the booking platform to cancel everything, completely ignoring what we were saying and treating us with unbelievable disrespect. She left us standing in the lobby for over 30 minutes, refusing to give us any information, refusing to answer our questions, and behaving in a way that felt almost intentionally provocative. It was as if she was trying to push us out, even though we had clearly confirmed multiple times that we wanted to stay, pay the deposit, and simply check in at the correct time. In the end, we were exhausted, humiliated, and had no choice but to leave and find another place at the very last minute — which cost us four times more. This was a huge inconvenience, both financially and emotionally, caused entirely by the receptionist’s unprofessional, disrespectful, and frankly shocking behavior.

Basic but just what's needed for Khao Sok.

Location was great as it was central to the Main Street. It was very basic but just what we needed for the night so we could do the Khao Sok tour, which we booked at check-in for the day after.

The room itself was fine but in the corridor area there are lots of mosquitos. Breakfast not included but feel like it could be as a bonus.

Average stay, tad overpriced for what you get, good air conditioning and the location is great. Plus the pool is really good, very clean and handy to have when it’s hot and dry season. Duvet was nice and bedding was very clean but bed is rock hard 😭 not a rare thing across Asia though. Powerful shower and clean bathroom!

Bed was so hard 😞 but duvet and pillows are nice so at least some comfort.. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. The rooms are VERY clean however at night the amount of bugs in the corridor is horrendous, having to walk through Bugs Life to get to the bathroom is horrid. SOLUTION - just keep the door to the hostel closed!?

Nice stay !

The swimming pool is nice, with many deckchairs to chill out. The staff is nice, the rooms spacious, surrounded by trees with a lot of squirrels and birds ! Beach is less than 10mn walk, AC and hot shower in the room, and even a kettle. Balcony to enjoy meals. Located near shops and restaurants.. good value for money !

- Very nice pool - Central location (restaurants, travel agencies, etc.) - Room is clean (beside the duvet)

- Beside the cleaning lady the restaurant staff was really unfriendly and the women at reception is probably the most unfriendly person we met in thailand - When checking in you already should know at what time you will check out - The room for three people has now window and all rooms of the hostel are located in the cellar of the building (one double room has a window). Therefore it also has a bit a strange smell. - The duvet is not covered with a sheet and is used several times by different guests. When we asked for a fresh sheet, they asked us to pay 150 Baht. We could arrange the deal to swap the hotel towels for the sheet - just ridiculous!

All. Pool, room, the staff, restaurants, outside, proximity with shopping, restaurant, supermarkets, national park... A lot of things to do with the hostel, activities, night safari, transfers to airport... Very nice stay here, I will come back at the same one day for sure. Thank you for all !

No window in my room, but you are always outside, so don’t worry about that. Not very important finally. Just outside the hostel, you have a big view in front of the door, and then when you go to the pool. Wow !

La piscine

Pour ce qui est de l’hôtel : le bar de la piscine était toujours fermé alors qu’il était censé être ouvert toute la journée, et le lit était très dur. Nous avons réservé avec l’hôtel l’excursion sur le lac de Khao Sok avec une nuit sur place. Avant le départ, ils nous ont prévenus que des éléphants avaient bloqué l’entrée de la grotte la veille, donc qu’il n’était pas sûr qu’on puisse y aller. Ce genre de chose peut arriver, c’est la nature, donc pas de souci à ce niveau-là. Mais une fois sur place, on apprend qu’on ne peut pas non plus faire le rafting en bambou ni la randonnée prévue, donc aucune des activités annoncées, à part le safari. Le guide nous a quand même demandé de tout payer ( 540 baht pour l’entrée du parc et la grotte), alors qu’on ne faisait pas la moitié de ce qui était prévu. Si on refusait, on devait repartir, sans garantie de remboursement (sachant qu’on avait payé à l’hôtel 2500 baht par personne pour l’excursion). On a donc payé, et le guide nous a simplement dit de voir avec l’hôtel pour être remboursées de la partie non faite. Résultat : l’hôtel n’a rien voulu entendre à notre retour, le guide a nié, et aucun remboursement ne nous a été fait. En revanche ils nous ont offert le petit déjeuner le lendemain Sur place, la “randonnée” proposée a été improvisée autour d’une île, sans attendre les participants. L’hébergement du lac n’avait ni internet (non précisé, alors qu’on ne capte rien sur place) ni eau chaude. Ce n’est pas dramatique, mais ce serait bien de prévenir à l’avance. Et surtout, le matelas était d’une dureté incroyable : impossible de dormir de la nuit, même en étant épuisée. Nous n’avons vu aucun animal (ce n’est pas leur faute), mais entre le manque d’informations, la mauvaise gestion de l’excursion, et le fait que l’hôtel ne reconnaisse rien, l’expérience a été très décevante. Nous avons aussi pris avec eux le transfert pour Koh Samui : encore un problème.

L’hôtel est assez bien situé dans une rue proche du parc national de khao sok et des restaurants

Lorsque je suis arrivée on m’a demandé un accompte de 1000 baths ce qui me paraît totalement énorme en comparaison des autres hôtels que j’ai pu faire en Thaïlande et à khao sok. Si vous rendez la chambre sans éteindre la climatisation ils gardent la caution. Lors de mon Check out a 12h j’avais un bus a 16h et j’ai demandé si pour attendre je pouvais patienter à la piscine ce à quoi on m’a répondu que non je devais partir. J’ai trouvé ça très déplacé sachant que j’avais choisi ce logement justement pour patienter le lendemain à la piscine. La chambre n’était pas totalement proche et il y avait des traces de moisissures au mur. Déçue de cet hôtel et surtout du personnel

Personeel was heel aardig en dacht met ons mee. We wilde graag de tour doen en een nachtje in het National park overnachten. Dit was digitaal echter over uitverkocht. Gelukkig konden we via de receptie wel nog de tour boeken. Ook heeft de receptie voor ons de bus geregeld naar ons volgende hotel voor een schappelijke prijs!

Niet echt iets noemenswaardig alleen de toiletten waren in de douche waardoor deze nat werden.

Mi sono scusato con la ragazza per aver comunicato un orario di check-out sbagliato, anticipandole di 30 minuti l’apertura della reception, da cui avrei dovuto ricevere il deposito di 1000 THB per la chiave, mi ha risposto aggressivamente nonostante abbia cercato di comunicarle il mio dispiacere. La stanza era buttata lì con 3 letti, chiavi confusionarie per gli armadietti (date in coppie, ma solo alcune funzionavano, e male), niente tende o luci divisorie, mi è dispiaciuto essere rincasato verso le 22/23 di sera quando gli altri ospiti erano già a letto, cercando di dormire, mentre io dovessi preparare lo zaino per un’escursione del giorno dopo. Bisogna togliersi le scarpe, come dappertutto in Thailandia, e andrebbe bene se i bagni non fossero allagati

Nous avons été très bien accueilli ! On peut tout réserver sur place (activités, bus). La piscine est très agréable. L'emplacement est bien, il y a beaucoup de restaurants autour.

Le matelas est horrible ! Ils ont mis dans un lit 2 places, 2 matelas 1 place mais à l'horizontal, on avait la jonction en plein milieu du dos... très désagréable ! La chambre est côté cours, alors il y a un peu de bruit si des gens sont sur la terrasse et de la lumière. Il y a beaucoup de moustiques dans le couloir et les douches, une moustiquaire serait appreciable.
