Convenient and economical; beautiful courtyard/garden area for relaxing.

We have stayed here before, and love it because it it close to just about everything. You can park your car, and not use it for the entire stay because the Sidewalk, beach restaurants, shops and my favorite coffee place (Above Grounds) are just steps away.

In the least expensive rooms, the bed is against the wall so that if you're a couple, one person has to crawl over the other to get out of the bed.

Ideally situated close to the center and beach but unusually quiet owing to it being behind the restaurants.good nights sleep and option of air conditioning or ceiling fan.

Location is mainly shaded by trees so may not be ideal for sun bathing.

Loved the convenience and room features, but the loud karaoke nights made it hard to relax

We loved the location of the property - right in the heart of Placencia, making it incredibly convenient to walk to the beach and some fantastic restaurants like Rumfish, Wendy’s Creole, and Koi Sushi. Our room (Butterfly) was equipped with a stove, which we used to cook breakfast, and my kids absolutely loved that feature.

The karaoke bar next door was EXTREMELY loud both nights of our stay, and the activities didn't stop util midnight. It wasn’t just the music, the speakers were at full volume and positioned only 3–4 meters from our bedroom window (we booked Butterfly room), but also the singing from guests, which was absolutely awful. We felt completely tortured and couldn’t sleep until after 12 a.m. This isn’t the owner’s fault, but guests absolutely need to be warned about this before booking. On top of that, the shower in our bathroom had very weak water pressure, just a slow trickle. My friend booked a room that was $50 cheaper than ours, and their shower worked much better.

Location location location!

Perfect spot right off the Main Street for everything you need - restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, diving shop, pier, lagoon beach etc all just minutes walk. Tucked away in beautiful grounds so also very peaceful & quiet. Free bikes were great for moving around the peninsula. Owners very friendly.

Bed was a little soft for us but otherwise the apartment has everything you!

centrally located and family operated business, decent value for your money.

Very central to all things happening in the village, SUP‘s and a kayak available if you’re able to get it to the water on your own, owners are right on the property and are very responsive and gracious, water is drinkable from the tap and it’s excellent, shower pressure is great, A/C is sufficient, beach towels provided, small kitchens if you’re wanting to cook. Coded door locks on each villa so you don’t have to worry about keys. Wi-Fi was good.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Placencia Villas. The staff was very friendly and check-in was very efficient. The location of the villas was perfect, as it was within a short walk to the beach as well as to lots of local restaurants and activities. We felt very safe and cocooned in our own little world, while staying at the villas. The rooms were very clean and provided a beach towel too which was great. A lovely welcome book was available which helped to learn about the current activities and restaurants in the area.

You may have had it, but did not see it, but it would have been useful to have a water tap to wash off the sand so as to not take so much sand into the rooms and shower!

Cozy stay in the heart of Placencia

Clean and well stocked rooms close to the beach and all the bars in downtown Placencia. Also walking distance to the Hokey Pokey boat to independence. The owner was really welcoming and helpful. Good value

Close to the beach (but not on it). Close to many good restaurants. Very lovely, calm oasis. Loved the kitchenette in the villa, and enjoyed the hammocks.

Nice basic accommodation with good location

Great location! In the Center, close to the pier and only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Room was ok, a/c worked fine and all you need to cook a meal Staff was very friendly and helpful

No outlets next to the beds Bathroom had mould in the shower floor and curtains Our room was placed in the back of a restaurant so no privacy whatsoever, we couldn’t open the curtains as people could see directly in to our room. Also, if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping this room would not be the best option (noise didn’t bother me but the lack of privacy did)

We loved the cozy feel of the villas and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for our short stay and the location was great for shopping , beach, and restaurants.

Quaint, cozy, inexpensive but sufficient, but beware if you have pain issues.

We only spent one night because we were catching a boat the next morning to Ranguana Caye. The location was perfect - walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, juice bar, and the Municipal Pier. The little cottages were cute and cozy and enjoyed meeting folks in the "conversation circle" in the common courtyard. It was also the only place we stayed in Belize with an air conditioner which was much needed due to being in the southern part of the country and not on a beachfront property with a breeze.

The beds. Caveat: I am 56 years old with spine disorders so have to be very careful where I stay. I figured it would be fine for one night but I would definitely inquire before staying again whether there was a room with a better mattress. (preferably thick, firm, and king sized, though I'm not sure there are any king sized beds on the property due to the size of the rooms.)

Check-in to Check-out Placencia Villas made our stay amazing.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service at Placencia Villas. At check-in, I was greeted in person by the friendliest young woman. Let me say that again, I was greeted in person. Our group of five was assigned an apartment on the second floor and when I mentioned my knees were replaced and going up and down stairs for 5 days would be an issue for me I was accommodated immediately with a ground floor room. The two-floor cabin-style buildings are arranged in a very nice way with a central seating area and the tree coverage allows for birds and small wildlife. The little kitchens in each unit had everything you need to make a meal and the cleaning staff was extremely meticulous. All units have AC This is my second extended visit to Belize and after several not as advertised accommodation selections hands down Placencia Villas has the most comfortable most conveniently located accommodations and the best customer service I've ever encountered. If your looking for clean quality accommodations at a very reasonable rate coupled with the most amazing on-site staff ever then Placencia Villas is the place you want to stay.

In my opinion, Placencia Villas is the best example of quality accommodations and amazing customer service that Belize has to offer. The in-person check-in and on-site staff are what make the difference.
