A beautiful hidden gem

This bungalow is a true hidden gem! The view driving towards it is stunning and to see that view from the main bedroom window is such a treat! The decor is smart, comfortable and perfectly fitting for this super cosy home. Everything is spotlessly clean and the extra little provisions of milk, shortbread and bathroom supplies was super helpful. We met the farmer who showed us where to go through his fields to join directly to the Wales Coastal Path in only 5-10 minutes. Our 10 year old was super excited to find a small park on site, along with the chance to feed carrots to the donkeys and Bluey the horse, directly behind the house. Our two dogs loved the huge, fenced in garden. Will definitely love to return one day!

Nothing aside of the usual Welsh weather but bring waterproofs and walking boots and all will be well!

Looking forward to our next stay

So good we have already made our second booking for a in a few weeks time. Lovely retreat in the most beautiful location. Very rural but yet only 3 miles from the bustling market town of Cardigan. Can see me returning many time. I’m fairly local so this was a bit of staycation and a great choice. Felt like I was more than just 25 miles away from home! Fantastic opportunities for good fresh air along the Cardigan Coast Path and walks around the farmland. The weather meant I didn’t take advantage of it this time. My daughter and I bunkered down and relaxed in this lovely cottage.

Excellent location, peaceful, with breathtaking views

The bungalow was beautifully furnished and decorated in every detail. Everything provided for a very comfortable and happy stay. And this extended to the garden, immediate surroundings, views and location. Breathtaking views from the garden and beyond. Loved the donkeys so nearby.

Relaxing beautiful getaway

Clean. Homely. Easy check in. Anna thought of everything. The bungalow is in a fabulous setting. Was quiet and scenic. We enjoyed taking our dogs sirius and Mollie. The walk to Mwnt on coast path was beautiful.

Peaceful, idyllic, slower pace of life

Location was absolutely breathtaking. The house was about 200 years old - warm, cosy, loads of charm. It looked out over exceptional views, and I got the bedroom that faced the donkeys so I was delighted. Keys were in the door and we didn't see a soul - perfect!

Barely anything to be honest. It was lush. It's a tiny thing, but I wish I'd known the names of the donkeys.

Beautiful home from home break

The cottage was home from home, it was lovely and clean spacious with everything you needed for a lovely break

There was nothing that I didn’t like, the only thing that I would say was the entrance to the cottage was very tight especially in the dark, also an outside light around the back would be good as to take the dogs out that way of a night was a bit of a nightmare but we realised that and just bought them out the front instead. What would make it absolutely perfect would be the drive a little wider, with a secure gate, the garden /bushes all secured with chicken wire so you could let your dogs out in the garden as I think to sit out in the summer with the garden being totally secure for your dogs it would be an absolutely perfect get away, for an away from it all relaxing holiday.

Private clean cottage in stunning location.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable cottage with beautiful views. Lovely to have donkeys in a field right next to the property which the hosts provided carrots for us to feed them. Great location with the coast path a short stroll away. Good facilities with everything you need for a stay.

Fabulous spot, exceeded expectations.

The hosts were great. They provided clear and helpful instructions. The place was spotless and all the facilities that we needed were at hand. The location was perfect, remote and isolated but we had the company of campers, birds, cows, donkeys and sheep.

The accommodation was well equipped with some thoughtful touches, such as milk in the fridge, toilet paper left, tissues etc. Lovely peaceful location with lots of birds and rabbits around. Great location for access to the coast path, which I walked in both directions. Suggestions for walks were also in the cottage, which i used to discover the local nature reserve.

Very dog friendly,lots of walks on the doorstep. Wonderful situation with views across Cardigan bay. Comfortable and roomy bungalow, with all you need for a homely stay.

The sofas could do with updating as they are quite low and not very comfy if you have back problems.

This was our 2nd stay here, what a gem of a place with stunning views it's peaceful, comfortable and spotlessly clean we loved every minute didn't want to come home

views of the sea in the evening, refreshing walk - close to the coastal path - we loved it

location, quietness, close to the path for a very nice walk, the bedrooms, kitchen and the lounge are of good sizes

finding by satnav can be challenging because the postcode target leads to a nearby property .. and mobile coverage can be spotty. It is best to check the detailed map of the area before coming .. the cottage is next to a small camp site, which one must drive through - the road is sign posted for the camp site. Once you know it then it is easy to find. This is not the hosts fault really, just something to be aware of and be prepared .. we being last minute and leaving for the trip in a rush have not checked and suffered a little being lost in non-internet connected world

Absolutely everything . The property was exceptionally clean and very well equipped . The position of the property allowed us to fully enjoy the views available and being able to take the family dog made this one of the most pleasant weekend breaks we have ever had . I would advise anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat to consider this. We loved every second.
