A fab cottage, ideal base for exploring locally 🙂
The cottage is very lovely! It’s clean & has everything you would need. The host was very welcoming and we were able to check in earlier as the cottage was ready 🙂 We don’t tend to cook when we’re away other than breakfast cereal/toast but you could have made a roast if you wanted to!!! The garden is beautiful with seating areas to appreciate a nice view. Its location is great, St Dogmaels itself is a lovely village to walk around and explore with a shop , PO, Chippy & friendly community pub! We were able to walk to Poppet sands in 40 minutes which is fab as we love walking everywhere!
The only thing I’d say is that the garden, whilst lovely, isn’t fully ‘secure’ for dogs so if you have an explorer you need to take precautions as our dog escaped! We didn’t actually mind the ‘killer’ hill you need to climb to reach the property - but for the less able then a car to go out and about would be recommended 🙂

Lovely cottage stay
Facilities were ample, fridge had butter and milk when we arrived, the cottage was clean and inviting. The garden was beautiful, we used the table and chairs on the decking and the raised deck had terrific views over to the bay and surrounding hills. Plenty of towels, including beach towels. It was a tranquil stay

The perfect weekend
The garden was perfect, just forced us to relax. The weather was kinda to us and ate all our meals outside. Bliss...Inside was just perfect for us....it was comfy and nicely furnished...the thick stone walls kept it so cool too. A special mention has to be the Bed...so comfortable.....quality sleep.

Great location, lovely village. Two great local pubs. Great chippy too. Lovely views. Nice garden. Parking with electric car charger.
Could feel tight with 6 people stayed. Ideal for 2 friends.

Terrace cottage with parking. Short walk to excellent local community pub. Abbey ruins, working flour mill and community centre.
