Very beautiful and historical

Almost nothing

Friendly staff and location of the hotel made this stay memorable, breakfast was quite good, with different options for different taste, the hotel was clean and with all the necessary ammenities.

The receptionist were not aware of the restaurant's working hours and mislead with breakfast times.

Location was great, right in the middle of the city. The atmosphere was nice and comfy. The room was spacious and clean. Natural lighting of the room was really good, even though it was facing the North. Good to have a game room in the building, so you can have som fun without even going out of the building.

The room had a poor artificial lighting and it's controls were a bit off. It had a paper thin walls along the corridor, so all the noise from the corridor was leaking inside.The TV was just a decoration, no ability to connect to to smartphone (like a smart TV) and also no TV channels at all, it wasn't very useful for anything to be honest. The shower tray was leaking badly, but it was managable with a couple of towels. The breakfast was very basic, should be better for this price point. It wasn't terrible, you wouldn't be left hungry or something, but in short it could use some help. Below are just several tips how could it be improved: . There was no water, just 2 types of juce and milk. So if you are thirsty, no luck. . Hot dishes were cold. "Omelette" was not even an omelette, cold and dry. . No meat products at all, no ham, no bacon, nothing. Just some boiled sosages. . Coffee was just an instant coffee, tasted really bad. . No pastry at all, whatsoever . Too many jams, but just a bread to apply it (which was old by the way). Plus it was a local type of the bread, wich is not very suitable for spreading some butter and jam on it. It was good to have a game room, it was very dark. The pool table was in ok state, but the cues were in a terrible condition. They were very damaged. Th table hockey was also not in a good shape as well. Others were good, like the chess table and backgammon. In general it was a good addition, but could be much better.

The location is amazing. Our tour guide knew the owner and the tour at the vineyard next door was the best wine tour of the 6 I have done at this property.

The misinformation on the pool necessitated contacting booking.com 3times and twice asking our highly competent guide to translate. Which STILL did not actually elicit the truth. Which for reference is the pool dies exist ( despite being told 3 times it does not) , it is also not shut due to weather, it is not shut due to the temperature, the pool is not unavailable because it is being cleaned. The pool is seasonal and only open at certain times of the year which are not advertised nor accessible upon asking 3 times. A vague next week was the closest I managed to get. But at any rate late May and early June It is not possible to relax in the pool area if it is shut because there is no furniture available to do so- no one will ever advise this. Though the staff may simply strenuously and confusingly deny the existence of a pool. It is through next to the wine yard area, interestingly on the roof of the restaurant. Good luck!
