The breakfast lady was a jewel. She matched the authenticity of the place. She truly made our stay more enjoyable!
Location during the celebration was good.
The facility was very old from the 1800’s. Updated several living parts. If advertised for the experience it provided, we could have been better prepared for we saw upon arrival. Shocked!
The insects, the creepy creatures within.

This was our first trip as a couple and it was even better than we imagined! Besides the beauty of the island, once we arrived to Quinta do Martelo, we were simply stunned! The attention to detail dedicated on each house, on the common areas, the areas inside the farm, the cleaniness, it is spot on! Perfect for people who wish to know more about the Azorean roots. Mr. Gilberto was awesome, the housekeeping staff were also great, even the gardeners! The attention from the staff trully makes you feel like you're home, just in the middle of the Atlantic. 5* rate to the bed matress, super comfortable! We checked out already thinking about when we were coming back. Our house was perfect (Casa dos Velhotes), super fresh since it was all with rock walls, super quiet. Even our 2 neighbours were so quiet we only saw them on the second day! (2 donkeys ehehe). Thank you all for acommodating us and for making us fall even more in love with your beautiful island! Our little rock house will forever stay in our hearts! Thank you for the beautiful memories!

Ottima posizione, facilmente raggiungibile dalla strada principale. Ampio parcheggio. Accoglienza cordiale da parte del proprietario, che ci ha subito mostrato la struttura, accompagnandoci fino alle nostre camere, trasmettendoci il suo rispetto per questo bellissimo ambiente rurale e naturale. Essendo arrivati nel tardo pomeriggio, è stato molto piacevole poter cenare lì. Ottima cucina, atmosfera conviviale. Camere confortevoli, ben attrezzate, pulitissime e molto tranquille. Pulizia quotidiana, lenzuola e spugne sempre profumate. Un ringraziamento affettuoso a Monica e a Pedro per la loro professionalità, gentilezza e simpatia e a Monica, che si occupava delle ottime e varie colazioni, con prodotti locali dolci e salati.
