The location and Maria has an amazing garden!

Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work, and we couldn’t get the washing machine to start either! For people that are travelling these 2 things are very important!

La plantación es muy bonita y los dueños son muy simpáticos, te enseñan la plantación, te dan fruta, etc etc

El colchón es insufrible. Sin ese problema, le daría una nota de 9 o 10. Pero es que es imposible dormir, es increiblemente duro. Fue un verdadero problema porque no descansamos nada y nos afecto bastante durante los días que nos quedamos allí. Espero que los cambien y puedan tener la nota que se merece. Pero, mientras tanto, no puedo en absoluto recomendarlo.

We loved our host Maria, plus the fact that we were on a banana plantation right in the middle of Angra. Once through the entry arch you are in a completely different world. The flowers and the song birds made each day a joy. Our bedroom with private bath was cozy. The shared kitchen/sitting area provided a place to sit and connect with the other guest. Worked great. The fresh bananas every day were welcomed. Plus Maria delivered the most amazing homemade Passion Fruit custard we've ever had. Our accommodations did not come with onsite parking, but we were able to easily park on the street for free. There is also a great little market/cafe right across the street where we found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

Our accommodations had no AC, which we knew when making the reservation, but there was no electric fan available which would have made sleeping more comforable. In addition, several items needed attention and/or repair. The clothes washer and microwave oven did not work. The kitchen was lacking adequate cookware and cooking utensils which made it a bit more challenging in preparing any meals. The WiFi was not reliable. The shower head holder in our bathroom was broken. Yes, a minor item, but just something that added to things needing attention. Had all of the above items been functioning and/or taken care of, our stay would have been much better than it was.
