The hotel was in walking distance (~15 min) to the airport for a very reasonable price. They had all the basics I needed when I simply needed a place to sleep last minute when my flight was cancelled. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a desk/table to sit at and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. It is about a 3/4 mile walk to a nearby grocery store if you need anything and about 1/2 mile from the town center of Lajes.
The wifi isn't great, but I didn't really need it for my short stay. In the bathroom there isn't space on the sink for toiletries so I used the window sill and the shower stall is very tight. But everything was clean and in good working order so I can't complain at all.

Walking distance to the airport. Not upscale but clean and convenient.
Shower was a bit tight and aging badly.

The property is in good location nearby the airport, easy check in and check out, the room and the hall is clean, you can park your car there
The shared kitchen was a mess, not sure if the towels that we got were exactly fresh
