Es una casa medieval remodelada a nueva con un gusto exisito y sin perder su esencia. Es muy amplia y cómoda. El dueño nos recibio muy amablemente y nos dio todas las indicaciones necesarias. Esta situada en un pueblo hermoso construido todo en piedra. Es un lugar muy pintoresco y queda en el centro de todos los lugares turísticos de interés. Realmente recomiendo este hospedaje sin dudas volvería a quedarme en esta bella casa en caso de volver a la Costa Brava. Superó mis expectativas!

Todo fue impecable

I hadn't heard of Monells, but was looking for a central homebase from which to explore Costa Brava. It is a charming medieval village that is perfectly in tact, with 2 or 3 restaurants and a hotel. It felt like stepping into another era. The recently renovated home, however, had all the modern conveniences you would expect, while maintaining the character of its era. The host was very accommodating when I discovered a booking error before I arrived. He met us there to show us the place and was very helpful. When we lost internet during a heat wave, he responded quickly. He recommended a restaurant which turned out to be one of the best meals we had on the trip. Plenty of parking behind the house, far more space than the two of us needed. Only wish we'd had more time there.

The only downside is that the home is on 3 levels -- a lot of up and down the stairs; definitely not for the disabled.
