We had a lovely stay. Monica and her family were so sweet and very helpful with every issu during our stay. The village is very calm and well situated. We reached many wonderful places in the surroundings and by the sea. We warmly recommend this place.

Accommodation was very nice, with very kind owners who were available all the time and provided everything we needed.

Driving up to the house, you are greeted by a complete sense of awe and beauty. Margarits ancestral home is simply stunning. The grounds are in lovely condition, so too is the accomodation in which guests are housed. The house is off the beaten track, which suited us well coming from busy Hong Kong. Nothing was too much for our hosts Margarit and her daughter Anna. Margarit does not speak English but Anna is fluent. Both are absolutely charming, and made us feel part of their family. Annas response time on any enquiries, whether about the house or what was around tourist wise, was fantastic. There is a tiny market town within very easy walking distance, and some delis and other local patiserries, butchers and so on a short drive away. Youll need to drive around and explore.Bordils is, in our view, ideally positioned, with it being no more than an hour or so driving distance from Barcelona, Girona, and some very picturesque towns such as Pals, Besalu and Cadaques (all recommended by Anna, and now us)So, all in all, a lovely weeks holiday for our family. We would have no hesitation in recommending this gem to anyone.
