Very central, very clean, and comfortable. The landlord Stefan is a gem, helpful and very responsive !

Lovely apartment in the heart of the city. Everywhere is walking distance and the place itself is a nice size, clean and comfortable. What makes the place special is the host Stefan, he picked me up from the airport for a small fee and even left a few beers in the fridge as a welcome gift. What a pleasure it was staying here and meeting Stefan.

The host was a great dude - friendly, offered to pick us up at the bus station, carried the bags up, and left us a beer in the fridge. Read all the other reviews, they're true, he's great. The location is very central (if you need the old centre, not the Novi Grad or Big Fashion, but everything is an easy 10min walk away anyway, 40 min in the very worst case). There's a table with nice chairs, so I managed to take a few work calls while I stayed, and it was convenient enough. The mattress is quite decent, if not perfect - more springy than foamy, but still very comfortable. Despite what I may say next, this is a good place to stay if all you need is a decent bed and a quick shower. There are also a few easy improvements for the host to consider - a kettle (there's a tiny electric cezve, but it's not convenient and didn't seem very trustworthy), a floor lamp or two with a mellow warm 3000K lamp, maybe another small table or shelving rack above the fridge for the kettle, mugs and other things. Even a small electric/induction hob with 1-2 pots/pans would fit well.

The apartment photos are accurate, but somehow the pictures make it look a bit nicer than it is IRL - the backdrop is a fairly low-res wallpaper, the wooden plank decorations are one-piece plastic sheets, etc - this doesn't affect comfort, but aesthetics are also important. The overall condition is fine, mostly clean (some dust on the bed's headboard, but nothing outright criminal), although parts of the apartment are visibly tired - the wall sockets are barely holding on, the bathroom doorframe is worn and possibly starting to mould a bit near the shower. The shower wall mount is quite awkward to use; you can only insert the showerhead at a specific angle, and it doesn't point fully down. If you make it point down, then it's not stable - my partner didn't notice and got hit by a falling showerhead when she turned off the water. The lighting in the apartment is quite bright and cool, which is not easy on the eyes, but it felt better when I turned the track lights up into the ceiling, away from the eyes. All 5 lamps are also on the same switch, and there's a LED strip nightlight in the bedframe is not connected to anything. It would be a lot better if the apartment had a warmer (!!), softer light as an option, this is more important for comfort (and sanity xD) than it might sound. 5th floor, no elevator - but we expected it and were fine with that, especially since the host helped with the bags, I'm not taking any points off for that part, just FYI if this would be a dealbreaker. Considering the price (€35/d) this didn't feel the best price/value deal, but it's okay, especially since the bed was quite good.

Bed not comfortable at all, frig noisy, we could not sleep, poor equipment specially kitchen corner which is not suffisant, parking not free, the parking is a public parking, the owner told us :" if you have fine or ticket, send me a photo, I will cancel it and throw it in the garbage box"........ Nothing exceptional, we don't understand the mark.
