A cosy semi-detached cottage, ideally located within easy reach of the delights of Cornwall and Devon, perfect for a family getaway.. 1 step to entrance.

Large enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Winscott Cottage is the perfect choice for a relaxing escape at any time of the year. This pretty, semi-detached cottage sits beside the owner’s home on their dairy farm. It was refurbished in 2019, offering guests a great base from which to explore both Devon and Cornwall. The large, sunny, enclosed garden overlooks the orchard and countryside beyond, and makes a great spot for a lazy breakfast whilst you plan your day.
The historic market town of Holsworthy is just 2 miles away and has a good selection of local shops, a supermarket, town amenities, a golf club and an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre. Winscott Cottage is within easy reach of the sandy beaches on the north Cornwall coast, including the excellent surfing beach of Widemouth Bay and the seaside town of Bude, with its beaches, sea pool, shops, pubs and restaurants, only 10 miles away.
There is something for everyone in this stunning location. Water sports and fishing are available at the nearby Tamar Lakes, as well as coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, mountain boarding, horse riding, cycling or simply relaxing. Pretty fishing villages, spectacular beaches and coves are dotted all along this coastline, from Padstow, Tintagel, Crackington Haven and Bude in Cornwall, to Westward Ho!, Clovelly and Instow in Devon. For a family fun day out, The BIG Sheep amusement farm and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed. The wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance, as is the famous Eden Project. With so much to discover in this lovely part of North Devon, this is the perfect holiday destination. Beach 10 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

A lovely little cottage out in peaceful countryside. It is the cleanest cottage we've stayed in absolutely immaculate. Lovely garden perfect if you bring your pet with you. Would throughly recommend

We enjoyed our stay. This is the exact getaway we needed. Andrew and Carol; you are wonderful hosts.Thank you for the welcome goodies, the flowers lasted our entire stay :)The cottage is very clean, spacious, well equipped and maintained.We enjoyed doing the puzzles and our son had a blast picking apples.We hope to be back soon!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Andrew was really pleasant and friendly and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Our daughter loved watching the cows returning to the field after being milked and was permitted (and encouraged by the farm workers) to watch the cows being milked. The location was good for getting to the beaches in Bude and also for some of the more inland activities such as cycling the Granite Way.

We had a lovely week at Winscott Cottage, perfect location to get to dog friendly beaches, would definitely recommend! Had plenty of home comforts and well stocked kitchen (plates, bowls, glasses, pots, pans tin foil, cleaning equip etc), lovely garden and perfect for a relaxing week!
