The market towns of Launceston and Okehampton are a short drive away, and the rugged coastlines of North Devon and Cornwall are just 9 miles away, where there is beautiful scenery and excellent surfing opportunities. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all available close by, and for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed. My family and I had a fantastic week in the bluebell lodge. My husband is a keen fisherman and was very impressed with all three lakes, each lake had its own merit whether it was size of fish or sheer number of fish. The lodge was very clean well thought out and comfortable. Kizzy and Brett were most welcoming and the lodges etc were so amazing because of their hard work and dedication. I’m sure it’s quite obvious with this review that my family and I will be returning later in the year.
