Primrose Cottage

Everything was cost and comfortable, everything clean and tidy. Owners are contactable and will help when needed, or will advise you on nice places to go and have a chat with you.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect and we will definitely stay again, massive thanks to Adrian!

Spacious cottage, good parking, quiet and private, good sized rooms, comfortable beds, good bathroom, large shower and plenty of hot water.

The only heating in the bathroom was the towel rail, which stayed cold. The central heating clock was set during hot weather and not changed when it had become cold. We rang the owners and it was overridden for the first night but was too late coming on the following evening. The only toiletries in the bathroom were loo rolls and hand soap, and there was no start up pack (milk, etc) in the kitchen. The cottage had some luxury touches added but the basics looked tired and old.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was rural with an enclosed garden. The house is part of a complex of buildings. We stayed in Primrose Cottage which is full of character. This property was really dog friendly. We were not greeted with a list of rules about what we shouldn't allow our dog to do, so we felt our pup was very welcome. There was a lovely paddock next to the carpark where we were able to let our dog run.

My husband is 6ft 2" and he struggled a bit with the size of the double bed.

The smell of cooking as you walk upstairs, The French doors that we couldn't use, so you couldn't open them to air the room, most of the smell we believe was coming from the extractor hood.
