The Pilot Inn

Everything , a real gem of a place . The staff were attentive, professional and lovely . The room was clean, immaculate and perfect for our stay. The food was very good. Location was excellent. We cannot fault it.

Staff, food, bed, decor everything top notch. You can tell the owner cares about her customers when she buys a £2000 mattress for the room! That’s going the extra mile!

I didn't like the flies around eating, on both days. Even at night, near closing. Ventilation in the restaurant seating area becomes rather stuffy and overly warm. My mate got a lot more pork bites than me, the food quality and portions sizes vary quite dramatically. Thursday's supper was splendid, Friday 3pm meal was a disappointment and questions were asked, (why do we eat there all the time). It is in a good location.. Also what I do not like is, when tipping on the final bill, ie 25% it doesn't show on the printed bill. So when you get a bank alert on your phone, the added tip isn't included, and you begin freaking out that you've been scammed somehow..
