Zeus Cave Suites

Charming, clean & welcoming hotel. Fantastic location, just a step away from the best view for the balloons. We had a King Suite which has a massive & amazingly decorated bedroom, big balcony and great bathroom. Staff was nice & kind, but the highlight of this place is definitely Denis and his Zeus coffee shop - a perfect example of how to work hard & have fun in a hospitality world.

Our room was located just below the restaurant, so from 8am and later at dinner time until 11pm it was very noisy as people moving chairs feels like someone drilling into the celling. Shower was a little too small and leaking - make me mop it everyday so make the bathroom safe to use. For that high price it was not the standard I expected. The guys working around the reception & restaurant are kind & hard working, but should be a little more looking after the guests. I needed to ask everything myself. At the check out I said good bye, but wasn’t asked to give the room key back what made me run the hill back to return the key and make my flight - and thats just an example of not heaving the head around by the boys. Maybe it should be more of them?

The staff, especially Yagis and Dennis were so friendly and helpful. The views were gorgeous. The restaurant food and service were top notch, the location was great for the views. And it had such a lovely "vibe". Although our room was small, it was special to be staying in a fairy chimney. Definitely a favourite for us.

The room had a musty air in it, also we felt a little exposed every time we opened the door if the terrace was busy. Also people often sat in our little area and talked and smoked. But not enough to be a real bother.

Breakfast was excellent!

It was convenient and cozy.

Needs substantial refreshing (bathroom tile and drain maintenance, new sheets/mattress)
