Arif Cave Hotel

The location is really good, sitting in the room can hear the saxophone music from the famous bar, every night is enjoyable! The staff here are very friendly, giving a really good vibe, making the stay so much happier, and breakfast time is great too!!!! Even tho the price is a bit expensive compare to other hotels, it's totally worth it! (I stayed in two hotels in this trip, the other hotel totally didn't have the same vibe)

We visited Cappadocia in late May 2026, and Arif Cave Hotel was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip. We ended up staying at three different hotels in Cappadocia, and without a doubt, Arif Cave Hotel was the best of them all. A special thank you to Han, who assisted us upon arrival. Since it was our first time in Cappadocia, he took the time to explain the different tours and activities available, as well as how weather conditions can affect them. What I really appreciated was that he never hard-sold anything to us. He simply shared useful information and answered our questions honestly, which helped us make informed decisions throughout our stay. The entire team here is incredibly service-oriented and genuinely made us feel at home. Everyone was friendly, helpful with our luggage, and they even allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which made our travel plans much easier. We stayed in the Panoramic Cave Room, and it was absolutely perfect. From our balcony, we could watch the hot air balloons floating across the sky in the morning and enjoy the sunset in the evening. The hotel is located just below the sunrise/sunset viewpoint, making it very convenient to walk up and enjoy the views whenever we wanted. Although the hotel is situated slightly uphill and away from the town center, the elevated position offers beautiful views overlooking Göreme and the surrounding landscape. One tip for future visitors: don’t underestimate the morning weather, especially if you’re waking up early to watch the hot air balloons. It can be surprisingly cold even in late May! The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. We enjoyed freshly prepared omelettes, scrambled eggs, French toast, toasted bread, and a variety of other options. What impressed me even more was seeing the staff cleaning all the tables and chairs thoroughly before breakfast service started. It showed how much pride they take in their work and the guest experience. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation and expansion works, and from what we saw, it has the potential to become even better in the future. They also have a beautifully arranged rooftop area that is perfect for taking photos. Overall, I would highly recommend Arif Cave Hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. It was the only hotel during our trip that truly made us feel at home. The staff genuinely care about their guests, and now I completely understand why the hotel consistently receives such positive reviews online. They have earned that reputation, and they absolutely deserve it.

We had a truly memorable stay at Arif Cave Hotel. The owner, Han, runs the hotel together with his family. Their genuine warmth, hospitality, and attentive care made us feel completely at home, as if we were staying with friends. Every interaction left us with a wonderful impression of Turkish hospitality. Han’s deep knowledge of Cappadocia was incredibly helpful. His professional travel advice allowed us to plan our itinerary much more efficiently, helping us avoid crowds and make the most of our time. This trip was extra special as it was my proposal to my partner. When Han’s wife, Betty, found out, she went above and beyond — personally helping us select a beautiful bouquet of flowers and recommending the best locations and times for photos. Thanks to her thoughtful assistance, we captured magical moments that made our proposal truly unforgettable. Overall, Arif Cave Hotel offers not only beautiful cave rooms but also the heartfelt warmth of Han and his family. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia, especially couples looking to create special memories!
