Fantastic location, the two staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and kind. Felt very safe walking around even after midnight. Great selection of eateries, from a drink / snack to full blown meal or just an icecream. Reception will store your belongings after check out until 5pm which was really useful.
Panicked slightly when we came back to change at 1pm and reception was locked. Our taxi was due at 1.30pm but I rang and someone came and unlocked it within a few minutes. Reception only open from 12pm - 8pm.

It’s hard to write a review because initially it was bad. I reserved 2 twin beds in a studio with balcony and kitchenette on the first floor. We were given a very small 4th floor attic room with no kitchenette a one double bed and lots of steps. No manager on duty the first 2 nights and no way to resolve it. The 3rd day the manager arrived and went above and beyond by changing our room to a balcony with fridge and microwave bringing us tarts and water and getting us a complimentary ride to the airport. The issue was lack of communication between the guest house and Booking.com as the studio was under repair and not available

Shower wouldn’t close, to phone dependant, nobody local to talk to for help with city. Bed has big lump in middle
