The Stables

The location was amazing, just a few minutes from the beach and about a 30-minute walk to Saint Michael’s Mount or to the city centre. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook just about anything, the sitting room is very cute and comfortable, everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. Just note that the sitting room is only accessible outside so it might be a good idea to bring some slippers. There is a lift for wheelchair-bound people though.

The mattresses on the beds are very soft so they weren’t very comfortable to sleep on for us but that depends a lot on what you’re used to. You also have to move the dishwasher a bit to the side when you want to open it because otherwise it’s blocked by one of the drawers.

Lounge and kitchen was light, modern, clean and peaceful.

Could not open lift door. Could not use lift. A lady tried and failed to open door. Spent the three days going outside to go to toilet, bed,kitchen ett Bedroom tv does not work. Bathroom was diabolical! Shower floods, old and dated. The whole ground floor needs updating urgently! Very depressing environment! Oven temperature is not accurate. Some plates needed washing before use. The entrance odd! Three gates to property. Two of the gates were close to each other and difficult to access with luggage, the space was full of unnecessary rubbish. Not accessible for even an able person let alone a disabled one.
