delightful and cozy
location was perfect for us, a 4 minute walk to our seminar center. terrific balcony view over serenely quiet hillside valley with rustic Greek charm of free range chickens and cats, and olive groves nearby. apartment had lots of plants, charming furnishings, lovely tiling and other homey decor. Host was very nice and immediately responded to questions and needs. very convenient to have washer midway during our 3 weeks in southern Europe. unexpected drinks and breakfast treats including fresh fruit, pastries, honey, etc were appreciated.
Apt was efficiently compact, the double bed was sufficient and comfortable. Good that the description warns that the bed was in a loft up a flight of stairs. It worked for us, but needed careful attention for the low overhead clearance above bed (opted to keep clothing, toiletries, etc downstairs instead of loft storage) and no stair railing for night visits to bathroom downstairs. Someone with limited mobility or extra large should consider suitability. Regardless we would gladly stay again for all the benefits, old world charm, natural ambiance and kindness.

The rooms I conjured in waking dream many moons ago.
The easterly facing balcony overlooking a forest valley with hill range in the far distance. Being able to watch the sun chase the moon across the sky. The fulfillment of a long held vision of imagined lodgings where the scent of jasmine reaches me in the night from tended gardens that run to forest.
I would be prepared for external noise cancellation, for example, a sleep machine or headphones or ear plugs for the instances when environmental sounds (cockerels, dogs, cats) impact peacefulness. I wanted to keep my bedroom-space window open. The bedroom-space has a north facing window as well as a west tilting skylight. The bedroom-space also has an iron balcony looking upon the dining-space. The dining-space has a sliding glass door onto the easterly balcony. I could have minimised environmental sounds by closing windows but I preferred to be met by pleasing scents and cooling breezes.

A comfortable and peaceful place to stay that made a great base for our first visit to Corfu.
Hillside house is a lovely property that is tastefully decorated and furnished. The balcony has stunning views of the mountains to the south west and is ideal to sit and watch the sunrise over breakfast. The kitchen is very well equipped. Upstairs the bedroom in the mezzanine is cozy and comfortable. A short 1 km away is charming Arillas with a lovely beach and sunset views with many tavernas. The supermarket at the crossroads just before Sidari is excellent and only 10m away (there are no shops in Magoulades). Overall it was tranquil and peaceful.
You may need to tune out the neighbor's dog!
