Only Trump would enjoy this place.

Location was good if you want a place somewhat close to Central Corfu but far enough away to avoid all the hustle and bustle.

If you want a place where the staff couldn't give a care if you lived or died, had bland, inspired food offerings, paper thin walls, limited lounge chairs outside to enjoy the pool, and can't even accomplish something so easy as ordering a taxi, this is the place for you. The front desk people are colder than white sharks.

Wonderful and relaxing stay with top seaside views.

Location is superb, close to the sea and view to the old town across the bay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had some leakage in the room and as a compensation for the discomfort we were offered some wine, fruit and a free dinner and drinks (except champagne, that was due miscommunication) at the a la carte restaurant. The a la carte restaurant has some great tasty dishes. I really liked the baked potatoes. We arrived late from the airport and that night we tried te buffet (21.00) , and that was a bit disappointing, probably because the food was in the trays for a couple of hours. Breakfast offered a lot of choice and was of good quality, esp. the fruit, Coffee was not strong enough for me. The room we had, premium panoramic view on the 4th floor, was really spacious en had a large balcony with a wonderful view to the south (sea view and the Mon Repos park. It is further from the road, which can be busy. You can hear and see the planes, but the airport is not that busy, so it didn't bother us too much. Airco worked fine, and we had some of the best WIFI we've had at a hotel.

The halls, the room and the bathroom are really dated and need update. Especially the bathroom. Taps are hanging loose, also loose tiles. The bathtub floor was deformed and not very comfortable. Fridge is old, and makes rather loud noise. Sunbeds are not very comfortable, maybe some cushions are a solution. All of the above is for me not a major problem, and stands in the shadow of the plus punts.

Tout était vraiment très bien. Même la vue sur la mer, annoncée comme "latérale" dépassait nos espérances.

Vraiment, ne considérer ces points que comme des suggestions d'améliorations et pas comme une critique négative. Ceci concerne le petit-déjeuner. Il y a deux points à améliorer: - Il y a eu deux fois à attendre et à faire la queue. C'était un peu pénible. Il faudrait mieux exploiter l'espace disponible (salle contiguë), - l'offre du buffet était vraiment large, variée et agréable. Quel dommage, alors, de proposer des jus de fruits tout simplement imbuvables. Il faut vraiment changer la machine ou la recette. On avait trop l'impression de boire une eau colorée et chimique. Tout le reste était très bien. La plage en face de l'hôtel n'est pas très agréable (algue et trop petite) suggérer la plage voisine ou bien celle du domaine de Mon Repos mais plage en pierre et 1,5 km à pied (toutefois très agréable à travers le domaine de "Mon Repos". Le stationnement en ville est très pénible alors que l'accès, soit par une rare navette ou à pied, le long de la mer est faisable. Là aussi 2 kms.

2 ausgezeichnete Tage in Korfustadt

Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend. Nur der O-Saft nicht. Man kann auch im Freien sitzen. Die Straße hat nicht gestört. Parkplatz ohne Probleme gefunden. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zur Stadt ist nicht zu lang. Wir empfehlen das Hotel.

Ein Duschvorhang entspricht sicher nicht der Qualität des Restzimmers. Auch ein wackeliger Toilettensitz nicht. Doch die Lage in der obersten Etage hat dafür entschädigt. Und wie gesagt, wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter.

Very good hotel with good service and food

Great hotel , great staff and great food. We would have scored this hotel a 10 had it not being for, a room that was poorly thought out and didn’t use the limited space to best use by, having twin beds instead of a double and, having a table and two chairs in the room. Also, communication was not very good when we signed in early to the hotel but we weren’t told that if the room was ready before 3pm we could collect our key. ( I went at 2.45 to check if it was available and the desk clerk checked from several rooms that were ready and gave me my key. Why do they not text you ?) small but important point to a guest.

Clearly Misleading Photos on Booking.

Misleading and Overrated — Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel This place is a complete disappointment. The rooms are nothing like what’s advertised. Outdated, poorly maintained, and far below 4-star quality. I booked a Double Room with Panoramic Sea View, but the so-called “view” and the entire room bore no resemblance to the photos shown online. The pictures are clearly misleading and create completely false expectations. It’s unacceptable that a hotel markets itself this way. What you see on their website and listings on booking is not what you get — avoid booking here unless you want to be let down

Excellent choice, we were very happy!

The hotel's location was perfect for us. It took a 25-minute walk along a nice promenade or a shaded park to get to the city center. At night it was quiet. There were numerous restaurants in a park nearby open for lunch and, especially, dinner. We had a front room with a full view of the sea. We enjoyed it a lot. The mattress was excellent, the pillows were average. The room was made up, water and coffee was provided, and towels were changed every day, even though we did not ask for it. We regret trying the hotel restaurant (a la carte) only on our last day . We didn't expect much, but the food (grilled sardine!) was excellent, and the price was very affordable. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of meals to choose from. Coffee was from the pot only, unless you paid extra. The outdoor seating for dining was atmospheric, with a great feel. The "beach" near the wind mill on the other side of the street was great, with locals and tourist mingling all day long. We enjoyed going there a lot.

Acoustics was poor, but our neighbors were aware of it too, so it wasn't too loud for us. If you are concerned about the airport noise do not worry, as the hotel is protected from it by a hill and the starting engine's. It is louder on the promenade nearby than in the hotel. The bathrooms are dated. There could be more shelves in the closet and the bathroom, there could be hooks. The pool was very small and open only until 6pm (but the nearby windmill beach is way better).

Das sehr gute Frühstück sowie die Lage hat uns gefallen. Perfekt für Stadtbesichtigung und Erholung am Wasser. Jeden Abend gab es im Hotel LiveMusik mit verschiedenen Musikern. Wir haben es genossen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants zum schlemmen und Sonnenuntergang genießen.

Der Pool war sehr warm und nicht gut gesäubert. Es fehlte auch Wasser. Mir persönlich fehlten noch mehr Sonnenliegen, vor allem im Schatten.

Superb and will return.

The location was perfect within easy access of Corfu Town. But the staff were top class. The team led by Stella were exceptional with special mention for Ferdi, Epy, Myra, Katerina who made our stay special. The views from the 4th floor were stunning.

The Reception area needed a bit of updating and the pool area are little on the small side. Also, the shower in the room was a little awkward to get used to.

Despite this being a good location, Staff at the reception rude. Very dismissive and not pleasant at all which is so unusual for Corfu as people are so nice. Also taxi fare to airport is 20 eur and its 1.2 km distance. Please walk it will take you 10 min. From centre is half the pricecwhich is way further.

Piscine trop petite et SQUATTéE par des "selfishs" du matin au soir..aucun contrôle de l'hotel.. donc..indisponible ! Bruyant certaines nuits à cause du trafic routier juste devant l'hotel ................. Rideaux de la chambre pas assez efficaces pour cacher la Lumière...boitier lumière verte ( HORRIBLE) la NUIT !

Gute Lage, aber Erneuerungen in den Zimmern wäre super.

Gutes Essen, gute Lage und sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten Meerblick und die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr zügig.

Die Zimmer, vor allem die Bäder sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Die Armaturen sind sehr verkalkt und alt. Wir hatten als Dusche eine sehr alte Badewanne mit Duschvorhang, die Halterung für die Handbrause war schon abgebrochen. Als wir ankamen, war es auch nicht sonderlich gründlich geputzt, das war ab dem zweiten Tag auf jeden Fall schon viel besser.

Stayed for 5 days with my wife and our friends, was really impressed by how helpful the staff were.

Super Staff, great food, no really great food. The location was perfect, little bit out from the town, so quiet surroundings, 1 minute walk to the beach, nice pool area and outdoor seating.

Didn't affect me, but sun worshippers might have liked more beds by the pool.

Beautiful

Beautiful hotel with a vintage touch to it. It has a beautiful view on the ocean, in a cute location, 20 min walking to the center of Corfu. We booked a sea view, and the view was incredible. The rooms and beds are super spacious.

The photos were completely false and unrepresentative of the property; for this I have to say I blame Booking.com - I think you need to do a better job of auditing your hotel partners. The rooms looked NOTHING like the photos and the walls were so thin, you could hear everything. The pool was on the side of the road and the bathroom was appalling. You’ll see this is the first time I’ve ever taken the time to review a hotel - so I hope you take this review seriously and offer me some sort of refund. This is a 2-3 star hotel at best.

Punishment

We love the nearness of Garitza bay and the area of Kanoni.

We booked the room a few months ago at a rather high rate. Just before arrival we were requested to bid for an upgrade. We responded that the hotel should give us a free upgrade instead …. and we were punished instead. For €220 we got the smallest room with a tiny bathroom. You could not sit on the toilet and close the door. What a pity we will never return.

Overpriset gammel storhet som trenge tung renovering.

Beliggenhet er meget bra, derfor valgt vi dette hotellet. Bra frokost og hyggelig personale.

Vet ikke helt hvor man skal begynne, men dette er ikke lenger ett 4* hotel. Maks 2* pt. Det var ganske fullt da vi bestilte, men vi tenkte å unne oss litt luksus siste 4 dager av ferien. Prisen var ok. Men, vi fikk ett rom med såkalt fjell utsikt og her skulle det også være en balkong. Utsikten var så som så, men den såkalte «balkongen» var vel på størrelsesorden 1,5m2. Rommet er nedslitt, flasser maling av veggene, vinduene og balkongdør var meget skitten. Renholder var også under normalen. Dobbeltsengen var presset inntil ene veggen så man måtte krype opp i sengen. I garderoben var det igjen 3stk kleshengere, dette til to personer!! Badet var også skittent og stor mangel på vedlikehold preget dette og resten av rommet. Forespørsel om oppgradering ble ikke besvart. Dette hotellet holder ikke lenger 4* standard, samt at man burde stryke ordet «Palace» i navnet. Har reist rundt i Hellas de siste 3 uker og bodd på 1 og 2* hoteller med bedre standard enn her. Booking.com burde virkelig vurdere dette hotellet på nytt da hotellet ikke levere på standard. Man føler seg lurt! Ser av tidligere kritikk at hotellet svarer med en standard mal og lover å forbedre seg!!! Det skjer vel med denne anmeldelsen også! Det var vel en bra plass på 70-80 tallet men nå har både tiden og vedlikeholdet løpt fra dem.

Quarto amplo com varanda e uma bela vista para a baía de Garitsa. Enxoval bem cuidado, equipamentos em pleno funcionamento e cama agradável. O café da manhã é um show à parte, com ampla variedade e funcionários simpáticos e eficientes.

Leise Klimatisierung. Bequemes Bett. Frühstücksterrasse. Swimmingpool. Meer in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, Zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe. Schöne Sicht aus dem Fenster.

WLAN auf dem Zimmer nicht zu gebrauchen. Wenig Staumöglichkeiten für Kleidung und Koffer. Kopfkissen zu dick und zu fest. Zu wenig Abstellfläche im Bad. Antiquierte Duscharmaturen in der Badewanne, Dusche mit starken Temperaturschwankungen. Keine Kaffee-Auswahlmöglichkeit, nur schwacher Filterkaffee zum Frühstück. Man bekommt keine Kaffeekanne, sondern muss zum Nachgießen der Tasse den Kellner rufen. Die Auswahl des Frühstücksbüffets entspricht nicht dem hohen Preis.

This accommodation is quite simply superb. This was our second stay as we stayed last year. Fantastic location and the staff even better. Needs refurbished bathrooms - shower in bath wasn't good and actual shower was rubbish. Only 12 sunloungers for all the guests was ridiculous. You could hear the traffic loudly while you sunbathed as the main road and side was very busy - could do with a higher wall on the wide road to cut out traffic noise and smell of car and moped fumes. One of the receptionists on arrival wasn't friendly. I asked a few questions and she snapped 'what do you want to know, you an get all your information on the qr code'. I'm not good at navigating using that. I just wanted to know breakfast time and information on nearby places but she was not so nice. Other receptionists were nice.
