⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I absolutely loved this place! The staff was amazing — they really made us feel like part of the community and were so hospitable and kind. We could not recommend The Acanthus Blue more. If you’re looking for a great spot in a perfect location with a fantastic team behind it, this is exactly the type of place you’ll want to stay.

Beautiful, friendly, small hotel within a central location.

The hotel is small but beautiful. The decor is thoughtful and tastefully done. I’m an interior designer and I was impressed by the attention to detail. The staff were phenomenal and genuine. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of home baked goodies. It’s in a good location to reach Corfu town within a 10-15 minute walk and a short drive from both the airport and the port.

The hotel is in a fairly noisy part of the neighbourhood, you could hear a lot of cars, dogs barking and people walking past at night.

Never felt so well looked after!

Beautifully renovated house. Spotlessly clean. All the staff are lovely. So kind and attentive. Extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations etc and boat and car hire - which given it was the end of the season saved us a great deal of ringing round! The breakfasts were superb. Tasty and filling. Hot items cooked to order. We never needed lunch! A good night’s sleep, not much noise after 10ish. A very easy and pleasant 10 minute stroll along the seafront to the old town. But plenty of bars and restaurants round the corner also. If we are visiting Corfu again, we’ll go straight back here.

A Ritz Carlton experience for a fraction of the cost.

I felt like a visitor at somebody’s home who wanted to treat me like family. The staff are so gracious and the surroundings are so beautiful. They have breakfast, which is sublime and you couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Beautiful hotel perfectly situated away from the busy town

Lovely hotel. They were super accommodating to my needs as I don’t eat gluten and dairy. They had many options for me at breakfast and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is well located. I could walk to the old town in a few minutes, it’s surrounded by great restaurants and close to the old fort.

The only way to get to the higher floors is via stairs. The wonderful staff do carry luggage up though. Maybe not the best place if you have mobility issues. I also had trouble with my toilet. It didn’t flush well. Probably not a usual occurrence.

Elegant but cosy, great location, super staff

Acanthus Blue in Corfu Town was delightful - beautifully designed rooms, comfy bed and a lovely breakfast. The staff went above and beyond, even providing with a takeaway breakfast bag for our early airport checkout. Location was great - 10 min walk to the airport, short stroll to the coast and on a bus route into town.

This hotel was an excellent find. A lovely boutique hotel only a 20 minute stroll along the beach front to corfu old town. The rooms are modern and beautifully designed. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is superb. The hotel is only a 4 minute drive from the airport so ideally located if you want to spend a few days exploring Corfu town. We will certainly return to Acanthus Blue.

Charming boutique style, excellent service and staff, pricey, relaxation from a busy old town

Beautifully decorated, very pleasant and hospitable staff, relaxing 20 minute walk to the inner city along the water front, exceptional style, service and staff.

Very pricey, our room is small, loud birds in large tree outside our window. (It’s ok for awhile, but noisy if your trying to sleep), outside traffic and people can be loud at times

A Special Place

Lovely welcome. Beautiful room, polished wooden floors, high ceilings, bathroom, tiling, furniture .. all exquisite. Bird song in the trees outside. Probably one of the best breakfasts we've ever had in an hotel, certainly in Greece. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat. Many thanks

The art of good hospitality!

This is a beautifully designed boutique hotel just outside the bustling Corfu Town but a short walk to it. The people here are warm, welcoming, and accommodating to guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Cold water in glass containers anytime we needed. They also held our luggage when we checked out and treated us as welcome guests right up until our taxi to the airport! A++ We will stay here again when we visit Corfu to be close to Corfutown. It's absolutely worth it!

It could be a bit noisy at night occasionally with people outside and a dog barking, but nothing too terrible.

Exceptional, a real gem

An immaculate boutique town hotel. I very very rarely give 10/10 but this deserves it. Incredible attentive and friendly service who take real pride in their establishment (thanks Christopher). Beautifully appointed rooms and overall exceptional attention to detail. Wonderful breakfast out on the shady terrace garden. Walked to the shady beach to swim, walked to the old town for dinner. Fab lunch restaurant recommendation. Super comfy bed and pillow! If you can stay in an upstairs room.

An oasis

Acanthus Blue is a beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. The welcome was warm and hospitality was attentive throughout our (regrettably short) stay. The breakfast, served in their oasis of a courtyard, was a highlight. We will definitely look to stay again when we next visit Corfu Town. Thank you!

A shining example of how a boutique hotel should be run.

The owner & staff of this superb little boutique hotel have got everything right. The rooms are a delight and have all mod cons that a guest might want. The food is wonderful and generous, with offerings of home-made jams at breakfast, for example, that add that extra touch that makes the difference. The staff are really friendly & helpful and nothings seems too much to ask. Whoever decides hotel ratings needs to give it another star in my opinion.

The change to a sushi menu in the restaurant this year wasn’t for me, but the hotel is close to town so not a problem finding alternatives.

Ample breakfast, combination between a continental and traditional english breakfast. Able to order more if hungry, but generally the standard serving is substantial. Beautiful location - only 5 minutes from the airport and about a 15 min walk into old town. Plenty of restaurants that are nearby, that are "off the beaten track"

Whilst the aircon was fine, I do think it could be stronger to help with airflow. Electronics could improve - no modern ports which you find in most hotels and I wasn't able to connect my phone to the TV or some sort of speaker.

Gorgeous boutique hotel with outstanding hospitality.

Lovely hotel, so comfortable and such kind proactive staff. They think of everything and make their guests feel welcome. Breakfast is brilliant - in the pretty courtyard, generous serves of home made treats, yoghurt and excellent omelets. A very easy 10 minute walk to the old town for a nice mooch.

Beautiful Boutique Stay

wonderful staff. Especially Dimitri, got red carport service. all of the staff were brilliant. breakfast was delicious. they served really good cocktails. i now have a special merlín KumQuat Gin on my list. Owner was very kind had the cutest Dog. i got a real home feel from Acanthus. will definitely stay here again if i return to Corfu. room facilities were exceptional. very spacious. special breakfast and the best homemade jam i’ve ever had.

closes off season would have been a go to destination for the winter. but everything else was fantastic

Excellent boutique hotel a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of the Old Town.

The staff were fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble. I had an early check in, and they let 3 of my family members leave their bags in my room for a few hours before they went to the airport, and accommodated us all for coffee. Breakfast was delicious. It was a shame they don't serve lunch, but there was a café 100m from the hotel. I had a late check out, and they arranged my taxi to the airport, with a complimentary tea and biscuit while I waited for the taxi.

A boutique hotel in the best sense; a real home away from home with style and warmth.

The hotel is the perfect base for a visit to Corfu. A short and pleasant walk from the busy old town, it’s comfortable, quiet, stylish and above all friendly. The staff are wonderful - Dimitros and Strados looked after us brilliantly and Alexandra made the delicious breakfasts a real treat. It’s a small hotel - only 8 rooms - so almost like staying in someone’s home.

Not much to dislike to be honest. The restaurant had closed for the season by the time we visited (mid October) so we could not try that.
