The location was amazing. Right on the shores of Loch Ness with Highland coos just outside the window!. The place was very clean and tidy despite some wear and tear. A well equipped, modern and very clean kitchen. A good TV and comfortable beds. The jacuzzi was lovely, a real treat after a long hike!
We felt a bit hassled by the owner who kept 'reminding' us to pay the deposit which he said he might keep for up to a week afterwards (never heard of this before). The relaxation vibe was also spoiled by the somewhat agressive note en route to the patio which read 'Full deposit will be kept if there is any damage to the Jacuzzi'. Don't expect to be treated like a potential vandal at this price point! On that note, very stingy with the towels and no way to dry the floor so the shower and the lounge floor were repeatedly soaked. The real downer though was the prompt arrival of the (very nice and polite) jacuzzi man at 0945 while we were preparing to leave and 5 minutes later by the cleaners (also very sweet) who were waiting on the doorstep. We felt a bit like we were being rushed and hounded out. Perhaps have them show up at 11 and give your guests some grace to check out in peace.
