A lovely cottage, modern interior, very clean and great facilities. We stayed in January and it was really cosy and warm, throughout. Location for visiting around Glencoe is ideal also. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area
There was genuinely nothing negative about the cottage

Duart Cottage us absolutely beautiful, warm and cosy. All the facilities are very well thought out, including for the furry guests. It was a very comfortable stay. Location and parking was also great.
There is nothing to dislike. It feels like a true home away from home!

The cottage was well-appointed and clean. The drying room was large and perfect for drying clothes, shoes, tent gear, etc. And the fruit basket was a nice touch to start off our stay! This cottage is one of the best places I’ve stayed in on my travels ☺️

We loved the basket of fruit that the hosts left. The beds were very comfortable. There was a comfortable sitting area. It had the extras that we needed and enjoyed like coffee, sugar, etc.

Overall, the house was really fantastic and I would consider staying here again. The location in the tiny village of Glen Coe is amazing. I loved walking from the house around the neighborhood. The house itself is a good size, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The views from both rooms were so nice, and I loved lying in bed and looking at the mountains. The TV room was so cozy; we had fun gathering in there. The house also has a drying room, which is a little closet-like thing in the shed in the back yard. So most washers in the UK that we had access to did not fully dry the clothing, so this is basically a dryer (except your clothing doesn't wrinkle!). I had never seen this, and it was great! The house manager got right back to me when I contacted her, which was fantastic and made us feel like we had someone to turn to if we needed something, since Glen Coe is a bit remote.
There were a few things that could have been improved. We needed some written instructions for how to turn on the floor heaters and how to work the washer. The bathroom showers needed to be cleaned a bit better, and behind the toilet in the upstairs bathroom, there appear to be needed repairs. The house could use a fresh painting or some wall scrubbing. To be fair, every home we stayed at had some issue with unclean bathrooms.

The cottage is in a good location to use as a base to see the Highlands. We try and stay there every year, very relaxing, quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Shame the local grocery store has shut down.
Only observation. The tin opener is ready for replacement. I had to use my Boy Scout skills to break open a can. :)

Fantastic location for outdoor enthusiasts. Hundreds of walks on the doorstep ranging from easy strolls to full-on Mountain days. Sea Kayaking and cycle hire close by too. The location is also good for travelling to places further afield for a day such as Oban, Blair castle, Skye. The cottage was cosy, stylish and very functional. The finishing touches at the cottage make all the difference e.g. toiletries provided, fruit & flowers on arrival, the drying room, plenty of hooks for coats etc, loads of mountaineering books to read on the wet days and lots of walk & restaurant suggestions from the owners.
The weather! Although it improved slightly through the week and Glencoe is beautiful even in the rain.

The big bowl of fruit was a real pleaser. The milk and tea bags on arrival were very welcome. The rooms were well furnished and beds very comfortable. Copious hot water. Well equipped kitchen.
Scotland failed to beat France to hand the Six Nations title to England.
The cleaner missed the tops of the skirting boards in the downstairs bathroom.

10AM checking out time seem to be too quick for us that book only one night. Maybe it's our fault to not check the regulation before. Else, we should book for other format of accommodation e.g. hotel.
The lady who came up at 10:00AM seem to be quite a little bit rude to us when telling us to get out of the house.

Excellent location, house was immaculately clean, warm and cosy with plenty of hot water. Nice and quiet with good walks straight from the front door. The garden was secure enough for our collie. Good communication with the owner. Would highly recommend.
The garden is a bit scruffy but only our dog used it so it wasn’t an issue

I travelled to Duart Cottage in the last week of august 2021. We found the cottage to be clean and comfortable; the towels and linen were immaculate and the beds were comfortable. This is a great location from which to explore the highlands. The cottage is situated on a quiet street from where you can walk five minutes one way and be greeted by the stunning panoramic views of Loch Leven or you can walk 5 minutes in the opposite direction and find yourself on a woodland path leading to a river and the Pap of Glencoe. We booked into Ice Factor with the three children in our group and had a great time on the aerial adventure with James our guide. We traveled to Oban for a wander around the harbour. We also drove to Silver Sands of Morar (50mins drive) for a wonderful day on the quiet and scenic beach. There is a pub and restaurant within a five minute walk of the cottage and a coop supermarket about five mins drive away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return as we only stayed for four nights and just feel that there are so many other places that we would like to see in and around Glencoe.
The garden could use a little TLC.

This is a gem of a cottage. A real home from home. There a several places to eat within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the Laroch in Ballachulish. Really excellent food and service. T

Spacious, clean, comfortable, home from home, everything provided, we felt quite spoiled, nearby little shop for essentials, parking, lovely local walks, loved all the mountaineering and map pictures and books
The showers were lovely but unfortunately the one upstairs started leaking through to downstairs so we stopped using it but there was still one downstairs

Het voelde heel huiselijk. Genoeg ruimte voor de hele familie. Keuken was zeer uitgebreid.
De bedden zijn erg kort en de douche erg laag. Niet geschikt voor lange mensen vanaf 1.85
