Absolutely incredible stay - would buy the cottage in a heartbeat if it was for sale!

It was adorable and cozy and spacious! Had everything we needed and more.

The only semi-tough thing is no dryer so it took awhile for the clothes to dry but there were drying racks!

Private parking a bonus the house it's self the best we have ever stayed at in scotland comfortable with everything catered for we could not have asked for more the Joyce was most helpful and made us feel welcome such as it is we are back in 2026

Your property is in A+ condition. Even the windows are spotless! Your decorations, blankets, kitchen & bathroom look like someone with great taste lives there and not like any other vacation rental we have ever stayed in over many experiences. Great attention to detail😀.

The only only only thing we would have changed is to have had a larger bed upstairs.

Discovering the Highlands with our family

Everything was truly perfect! Our host took care of every detail to ensure our comfort and stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. The cottage is perfect for a whole family, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need during your holiday. Finally, its location: simply perfect! With a private parking space next door and in a small lane away from traffic, with views of the Glencoe mountains and close to the road leading to all the iconic destinations in the Highlands! One word: thank you Joyce! :-)

Beautiful property where they have thought of everything. Comfortable beds, hot shower, well equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and lots of space to spread out and relax Jjust ten minutes are you are in the glorious landscape of Glencoe. Couldn’t fault it.

Hawthorn cottage is a joy to stay at if you are in this location, cannot recommend this property enough.

Location , comfortable, clean and well maintained, we will return to this property next time we are in Scotland.

This is a superb modern home , very well equipped , great decoration , really comfortable . Of course it’s in a breathtaking location , easy access to Oban, Fort William and the Western Highlands . We’re made very welcome .

Wonderful Cottage, the location and the views are stunning! We found everything we needed was there, including cutlery and plates for children, high chair and stair gates. The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms were great. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful stay!

The house was exceptional clean and in perfect order just like a show home. It is equipped with everything and more that you could need for a wonderful holiday. The views from the upstairs lounge were magnificent. This is one of the very best holiday homes I have ever stayed in I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic location. The cottage was fabulous and everything you needed was there. Even down to washing powder and dishwasher tablet etc.

Could do with maybe a shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. Wasn't a huge issue...but didn't want to soak the floor!

Perfect Cottage

The property was everything we were expecting. It was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5. When we arrived at the cottage, it was immaculate. The location of the cottage was perfect for everything we had planned, with plenty of walks not too far away. We would highly recommend a stay at Hawthorn Cottage and will hopefully return one day.

Beautiful property but not in hot weather

Everything was perfect in terms of the property. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely inside and outside. Very clean and perfect location. Was a really beautiful cottage.

One problem ruined the experience at the property itself, which was a real shame. I went to Scotland when they were experiencing unusually warm weather and the property was unnaturally boiling hot. It took ages to cool it down at night by opening all the windows and doors. Couldn’t relax in the property to be honest, and ended up spending days touring (not a bad thing) to avoid the heat.

A spacious and welcoming cottage in the heart of Glencoe village with beautiful surroundings.

The property was modern and spacious, very clean and extremely well kitted out with everything. Also some lovely touches with flowers, biscuits and pint of milk on arrival which made us feel very welcome. The decking area is spacious but also completely private and south-facing too which we loved as we enjoyed a bit of sunbathing. The view was gorgeous from all angles outside the cottage, truly breathtaking. Also the upstairs living area is fabulous with the velux windows that allowed us to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views while being inside. Great communication from the owner from the outset too.
