About this villa rental
Have you long-dreamed of celebrating a special occasion with family and friends in a quintessential Tuscan villa? Then, you need look no further than Tignano, a delightful stone property, a half-hour drive from Florence, that oozes character and style. You'll really appreciate the care and thought that has gone into preserving the original character and structure of this pretty villa. There's a large open-plan feel to the ground floor, where your guests can take their pick from two lounges and a dining room, all featuring classic Tuscan touches such as terracotta tiles, wooden ceiling beams and even an original fireplace. Upstairs, the property becomes an intriguing warren, with five bedrooms reached by a combination of three staircases.
When it comes to relaxing outside, you'll find that the covered terrace and neighbouring patio offer lovers of the sun or shade the perfect location for reading a book, morning coffee, afternoon tea and, of course, dining al fresco. Close by, a deckchair awaits on the large lawn, encircled by trees and shrubs, while iris-lined steps lead to the private pool, where you can enjoy magnificent vistas of the vines, olive groves and meadows that surround this wonderful villa. The owner's son and his family live at the property but they do not use the pool or areas of the property that are private to guests.
