Stunning views and exceptional service

Beautiful views. The property is easy and quick to reach by car from Florence. Even though it’s not far from the city, it feels completely like the countryside. The continental breakfast was excellent, and the level of service was exceptional. The restaurant was closed because the winter season had just started, but there are restaurants in nearby villages that are easy to reach by car.

Very nice relaxing stay. Great scenery from patio and pool area.

We enjoyed our stay here. Location was central to some surrounding towns, easy drive to other wineries. Room was big. Bedroom upstairs, living room and bathroom down. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and had great complimentary breakfast both with very friendly staff that made you feel at home. Reception staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Their Chianti wine was very nice also.

Beautiful buildings from the outside. Lovely gardens and pool. Lovely and hospitable restaurant. Delicious breakfast.

The ion had no windows except a window panel in the door to outside. Tons of noise above our room at 7 am. No noise buffer between floors.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, immersive Tuscany experience with a combination between a spacious and nicely decorated room, beautiful view and grounds, lovely pool, delicious breakfast and great restaurant for dinner and overall wonderful staff. The staff was warm and accomodating

Staying here was the highlight of our month long European holiday!

Breakfast was fantastic, Barbara was the ultimate hostess. We loved our waitress in the evening, the food was fantastic. The pool was exactly what we needed for this part of our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting in the cave with Eleanora. The man in reception who gave us some tips as to where to go and what to see was so helpful. It was a joy to meet the owners on our last night. Staying here was the highlight of our month long European holiday, if we return to this part of Italy again, we won't hesitate to stay here again.

Almost perfect

Perfect matrass, beds were super comfortable and you were able to darken the room completely. The pool is very clean and a great place to be with stunning views. Nice staff and restaurant was great with amazing food.

Our shower filled up with water and people smoking below our window caused the smell of smoke and therefore we could not open our both of our 2 windows. A smoke area could fix.

Great, quiet and peaceful hotel

The location is off the beaten track but easy access to Florence and the nearby town. It's quiet and peaceful. The pool is great, and the place is clean and tidy. The hotel isn't too big. Beautiful view.

Better room amenities – there were no glasses, cups, or a kettle. Lack of privacy outside the room – restaurant terrace.

The stunning location among the Tuscan hills, the beautiful pool with amazing views, and the charming rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, with freshly baked cakes and local products every morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay extra special. The wine tasting on the estate was an absolute highlight, as well as the delicious melanzane parmigiana. The wines served at dinner were exceptional too.

Tuscan dream come true

The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, wonderful views and scenery, fantastic food and most of all the staff were so happy and friendly they made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was spotless and cleaned regularly. The hotel was situated in a beautiful area of Tuscany part of the Chianti wine road. The hotel has its own wine and olive oil produced from its own grounds, the quality is excellent. Even though the hotel restaurant was closed on Wednesdays the staff made sure arrangements were made for us to eat at other good local restaurants if we wanted. We were very sad to leave this idyllic place. We WILL be going back to Relais Poggio Borgoni.

Perfect holidays in a gorgeous location.

The hotel is beautifully situated and decorated in typical Tuscan style. The rooms were very clean and comfortable the staff was very friendly and supportive. We spent 6 days and every night we had dinner in the restaurant. Every meal was very good and so was the wine. We will definitely come back.

Amazing! It’s a must for some quiet vacation

We’re a couple arrived for three nights. The place is more them beautiful, every room has an amazing view as soon as you step outside. The room is spacious and has everything one needs. The breakfast is excellent and varied. The whole perimeter looks like a postcard. But the best part is Francesco. He was Kind, charming, patient, knowledgeable, happy to assist with any question and made our trip even more successful. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful property in a great location. The views of the Tuscan hills are gorgeous, the room was not big but very comfortable with a large window door. We enjoyed the pool area and had an excellent dinner at the restaurant at night. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you!

Hotel manager looks for ways to take advantage of its guests with random additional fee demands

Good location- 30 min by car to Florence. The property landscaping is very nice (nice olive trees, rosemary, etc) on a vast property. Parking is available on site.

I’ll preface this by saying I write many reviews and this is my first negative one. At checkout, the hotel manager looked for ways to add extra fees, knowing that we, as foreigners in the country, had no choice but to pay. I mentioned I will write a review on booking.com about my feedback, the manager said she doesn’t care as Booking.com doesn’t involve her, being we’re in Italy…. Very rude and unprofessional behaviour. The ridiculous fees (ie one example being a daily fee to use the rooms mini fridge) dampened our mood on our family vacation- very unnecessary behaviour and uncalled for especially on principal. The room itself was dirty, especially the floors and the bathroom, very dated as well. Theres an old AC unit in the room which barely works, not ideal in >40 C summers. Given this, the room smell musky and damp. Breakfast is subpar. The pools deck has loose tiles/rocks which move underfoot- be cautious with younger children. Overall, a disappointing stay and poor value for money.

Wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble without being overly attentive (special shout out to Claudia!). Beautiful location looking across the valley to the Tuscan countryside. The food and wine were also excellent at the restaurant in the evenings.

Unfortunately we had rain and cold weather at our stay, but we enjoyed staying here, though we didn’t have the chance to enjoy sitting on the terrass enjoying the fantastic view. The food in the restaurant was very good and we especially enjoyed our eveningmeal with the very nice and helpful staff.
