Beautiful accommodation in a convenient location

A beautiful place, no doubt. Half an hour drive to Firenze, San Gimignano or Siena, which is ideal for the area. The apartment was huge and the fire place was an unexpected bonus for a nice winter evening spent indoors. The unit had central heating and was very warm. Decent breakfast with amazing fresh omelets and fresh homemade cakes.

I think the bathroom of the unit we stayed in was not at par with the rest of the accommodation and needs an upgrade. The kitchen was well equipped but it wouldn't hurt to have some basics : coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper and some oil.

Beautiful old buildings in a remote location. Very quiet and relaxing.

As they say you need a car. This makes it harder to have a drink if there are only two of you as one needs to drive.

We LOVED the infinity pool. We were in the pool everyday. The kids loved the table tennis too. The staff were kind and helpful.

We had exceptionally hot weather and found it hard to sleep. Our villa seemed to get hotter than other villas which was difficult for us all to sleep in, even with the fans provided. If we were to come back and stay again, we would need for there to be air conditioning option in the villa. The staff did offer us a cooler, smaller villa (which was very kind), but the kids had settled in and didn't want to move. We struggled the whole week trying to cool off the villa (weather reached over 36-39C).

Fantastic location and ambiance, the rooms are nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful.

The shower/bathtub was a bit difficult to handle in terms of water temperature.

Unforgettable Stay in a Tuscan Castle—Beyond Our Wildest Expectations

This property truly blew our minds and far exceeded our expectations. The price-quality ratio is unbelievable. When we were shown to our accommodation, we were in awe—it was a massive and stunning apartment within the castle, complete with high ceilings, elegant furniture, and beautiful paintings. The two spacious bedrooms, a grand living room with a large fireplace, and a magnificent dining room that felt straight out of Game of Thrones added to the charm. The large, fully-equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The history of the place is palpable, and staying here felt like an extraordinary experience. The property is beautifully maintained, with breathtaking views of the rolling Tuscan hills. The infinity pool perfectly blends into the landscape, enhancing the castle’s charm rather than detracting from it. A delightful bonus was the delicious breakfast served every morning, featuring fresh orange juice and made-to-order omelets or eggs. The property’s location is ideal for exploring much of Tuscany without long drives. This place has left a lasting impression on us and was the highlight of our trip. We sincerely hope to return someday.

It was quite hot during our stay, and we only discovered at the end that there was an air conditioning unit, though it didn’t seem to work effectively. Some information about it upon arrival would have been helpful. Fortunately, each room had fans that helped mitigate the heat, and the thick walls of the property generally kept the indoor temperature fairly comfortable.

Fantastic location with beautiful view

You must reach this place by car. It is situated on top of a hill with spectacular view across a valley filled with olive gardens and cypress so it it totally worth it. It has plenty outdoor of seating to enjoy drinks and admire the view. It is also convenient to reach a really really good restaurant La Fattoria. In addition, parking is ample and free.

The price is a bit too dear for October when it is already off-peak.

crowded breakfast room, rooms were dark, which was natural given the age of the buildings, but additional lighting would have been nice. More heating would have been appreciated.

Beautiful and picturesque property, excellent breakfast and so kindly catered for gluten free, staff were friendly, the room size was very generous and comfortable, staff helped us with any amenities we required.

The room had a spa which was great and relaxing, but it was difficult to shower with the hose unless you sat down (otherwise water would go everywhere).

Great location and the pool was excellent. very clean, easy to swim in and just at the right temperature. a good size in which you could actually swim for exercise. Parasols all around the pool providing enough shade for all that wanted it.

The suite we had, 68 had a large unused space in which an additional sofa would have been useful. other than that very nice suite and location.

Outstanding vacation and charming place to stay!

Very quiet place. Pool is open till 20:00 so You can spend almost all the time there. Castello di Bibbione is pet friendly. We don't have our own but local cat (girl) is very nice and friendly. They became friends with our daughter. Staff is very nice and always ready to help.

No wi-fi at the pool. Usage of cellular Internet should be considered.

Attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast with plenty of utensils provided to cook your own meals. Firenze (Florence), Arezzo and Siena, and Bologna nearby. Ideal for bike rides, pool time and relaxation! Kudos to the staff from Delhi. Big bonus points for Sara at reception for willing to adjust my dates due to the fact that I was working on the road.

Absolutely zero complaints. Prepare ahead and plan having reliable vehicle to get you to the coop for groceries and/or other necessities.
