A Pleasant enough stay, however was a little bit disappointed
A little care to the outside area would enhance a stay, the outdoor dining table and chairs have seen better days and could do with replacing. With our dog it would have been lovely to have a secure fenced off area as the current one could easily be jumped, the grass could do with some attention as there were weeds and thistles on and around. Cleaned the toilet as it was clear that it hadn’t been done under the seat. For the £5 a night £15 in total. for my dog to stay it would have been nice to have had something on arrival for him. I’m glad a brought my own tea and coffee as inside the coffee container was a hard lump of mouldy coffee. The fresh eggs, flower and bread were lovely however.
We chose this location to get away from it all. Being in the middle of nowhere, stunning views. I Was slightly disappointed as instead of an undisturbed view we had a camper van with water being collected just outside the house. If people are going to stay and camp in the field it would be an idea to have large shrubs or bushes for privacy. Overall a pleasant stay.
