A let down because it’s rundown, small for 3 people and far too hot in summer (even with air con on)

Fantastic location. The port waterfront is less than 1 min walk away and there are great restaurants on your doorstep. It’s in the very picturesque part of town. Great service with fast comms and the host/housekeeper Céline was so lovely and full of recommendations!

Very hot, even with air con on maximum, the place would not cool down (in the peak of summer, even at night) and it’s worse in the mezzanine bed area (fan is provided but still hot air). Rustic which is cute but a bit run down. Especially the shower, the shower head doesn’t stand up (the rain shower head is fine but of course completely covers you). Any shower makes water goes all over the bathroom floor which you have to squeegy wipe away. The bathroom smells and is quite dark in the shower. The mezzanine bed area has a very very low roof even for short people (almost crawling to get around) and it’s hot as mentioned. The whole apartment is a tight fit for 3 people, small with not area to put luggage. Plus little things like there was one very dirty/dusty glass, shower mat was not provided. All of this while being on the pricier side so it was a bit of a letdown.

Beautiful flat, full of charm on the port of Cassis. The host instructions were impeccable especially for the parking options which is a challenge in Cassis.

Would recommend!

Excellent location - less than a 1 minute walk down to the harbour and beach. Car park situated nearby. Set back on a beautiful street. The property was perfect for my family (2 adults and 2 children, 2 and 5).

The bathroom was damp so we needed to leave the window open to clear it. The tv would, it was not really needed but would have been great to make getting ready in the morning a bit easier.

Cosy stay in Cassis

The location was very close to the port, clean, nicely decorated, there was everything you needed for a short visit. Quick response with owner.

À little noisy in the early hours of the morning. So bring ear plugs. Book your parking in advance even outside high season.

The place was really cute, with a lil balcony for breakfasts and coffee and with a really nice bathroom. Everything was clean and all the useful stuff was there :) we got many recommendations and really nice treatment from the owner and the lady who was cleaning there. Thank you very much!

In the heart of the old town, in a very cosy location, small apartment, just a few steps from the beach. Cosily and conveniently furnished, with a tiny balcony to sit out on, a good place to start and a good place to arrive.

Proximity to port

Too small and the top loft was extremely hot. Almost impossible to sleep in. The parking is very difficult. The recommended parking spot was full. We had to search for an alternative and walk further distance

Very good

Perfect location in the heart of the old town. Public parking 200 m away (huge plus when visiting Cassis by car even if it is quite pricey). Cute little place with a tiny balcony overlooking the small street - great place to have a drink in the evening and watch the people go by. The place is small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Self check-in and check-out allowing for flexibility. Our host Vanessa. She gave us tons of tips to make our arrival and stay as smooth and pleasant as possible and took care of problems swiftly and efficiently. Many thanks!! All in all we would be happy to stay there again.

Due to some misunderstanding the apartment wasn't ready at our arrival, but Vanessa took swiftly care of the issue and everything was clean and ready about 1,5 h later. It can get quite hot in there, so using the AC is really advisable (we didn't because our daughter was ill during the one night we stayed there).

Vanessa (the owner) has planned every step very carefully and provides her mobile in case of trouble. It is a more pleasant experience than some hotel nearby ..

the stairs to get ot the flat on the second floor! Steep and narrow so not easy if you have a heavy luggage to carry up. But I survived

Brilliantly designed studio flat for a fit couple, in a delightful location .

This is an extremely well designed and renovated studio apartment with a mezzanine bedroom. The sofa bed is large and comfortable, with nice linen. Every inch of the very small space is utilized well, and the equipment is fine. The decor is quirky and fun. The position of the apartment is lovely, off a cobbled street on the way to the picturesque port. There are literally dozens of shops, bars and restaurants available moments from the apartment. There is a minute Juliet balcony where, with a bit of origami, you can both sit with your coffee.

This is not a two bedroomed apartment as described, although it does have two beds. The second bed folds up to the wall in the only room, apart from the wet room. The 22 spiral tiled steps up to the flat are extremely steep, and totally unsuitable for anyone not agile. The wooden stairs to the mezzanine bedroom are likewise very steep, and the vast beam at the top of those stairs is about 1.4m from floor level (4 feet 8 inches approx) It is hilarious dressing up there - sitting down on the bed between beams, as it is impossible to stand up anywhere !

Great location for a short visit

Great central location. Great wifi speed. Host provided excellent instructions for entry and recommendations for restaurants. Quick response to questions. Good supply of dishes for a quick lunch although there was no cutting board.

Although it was not a problem for us, the very steep spiral stairs going up to the unit could be an issue for some with mobility issues. The same could be said for the loft area where the main bed is. Also the ceiling in the loft is quite low but you get used to it. Bed also pretty soft

Closeness to the beach & waterfront

Spiral staircase to the 3rd floor. Upstairs bedroom warm at night/at bedtime during August Instructions were not clear using the bus system to locate the apt upon arrival at the train station in Cassis. We did a lot of unnecessary walking trying to find the apt. No instructions for the washing machine; it's a very different washing machine than USA.

It was a great stay, Vanessa was very responsive and provided excellent information so that all went smoothly. The apartment was right in the center and although small had everything we needed for our stay. The washer/dryer was definitely a plus. The parking was 2 mins walk from the apartment, really convenient. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Vanessa for your info and responding so quickly it was really appreciated.

We had an enjoyable stay in cassis.

The location is great. It is a few meters from the harbour, yet it is very quiet. Vanessa wrote excellent E-Mails in English. Everything was found exactly as described.

It is dark and has no view. I recommend the free parking at the Gorguettes with inexpensive shuttle to town. Parking in town is impossible and very expensive. A car is not needed during your stay.

Cosy studio appartement with a "tree house" mezzanine.

Very close to the center city and Beach with beautiful views! The host was very accommodating without being intrusive. Apartment was clean and ready earlier than expected. I would recommend :)

The kitchen sink is very shallow, so a bit difficult to wash dishes and water splashes on the counter. However, it's manageable.
