excellent one bed apartment (if the smell of stale smoke doesn’t concern you)

- Good location - Plenty of space in apartment - Washing machine and dishwasher - Very helpful and responsive host who speaks excellent English. He even took us to the tourist office to register/pay the tourist tax of 0.90Euro pppn and to the ATM to withdraw cash (note host only accepts cash as payment) - Very easy to organise checkin - Comfortable bed - Powerful shower - Excellent double glazing so very quiet and couldn’t hear the traffic on the main road outside - Ample free parking behind the building

- The major issue for me and the only reason I wouldn’t return to this apartment is that despite the apartment being advertised as a non smoking one, it was unfortunate that previous guests had smoked inside to such a degree that the walls, curtains, soft furnishings etc all smelt very strongly of stale cigarettes. We left all doors and windows open for about 3 hours per day for a week and still couldn’t make a dent in the smell. Even our clothes smelt so strongly of cigarettes that they all had to be washed after we left the apartment.

Perfect for visiting the capital of MNE

One thing I always look at is cleanliness. This place is SPOTLESS! I was surprised by the soundproofing in this apartment because I was able to sleep perfectly fine even if the apartment is located on one of the busiest streets in the city. It’s located so close to the city center and Morača river which makes it perfect and it’s a beautiful view. With only a 15 min walk you are already in the city center so no need to call a taxi. I am definitely coming back here!

Réservation en dernière minute. L'hôte a été hyper réactif. L'appartement est dans une résidence sécurisée,très grand avec un balcon, très propre. Mitch est vraiment très gentil et accueillant. Il nous a donné des conseils pour le dîner et pour nous diriger dans la ville; il voulait même nous y déposer. Un amour!! Si nous devons revenir à Podgorica, nous retournerons chez Mitch, sans aucune hésitation. Allez y c'est vraiment top!!
