Meridian Apartment Suites

Excellent size 2 bedroom apartment , the rooms were spacious, kitchen had excellent supply of essentials utensils, washing machine and cooker. Enough supply of towels, bedding and extra blankets if needed. ZOYA ZOYA , no words can sum her up , she is the lady we always meet when we book with meridian, she is an absolutely wonderful lady who is very hardworking. Her speedy response to any concerns was impeccable. She is just fab and my kids loved her. Meridian you have a treasure there!

1. Unfortunately, there was no lift to get up to the top floor and was abit difficult to go up and down with kids& a baby - shopping etc. previous bookings we were allocated ground floor apartment so never had this issue sadly this time round we had top floor apartment. 2. The TV was very outdated for the kids to enjoy programs when inside during the evenings. ( we were out most of the day time hours but if you have kids you know they like to watch TV when indoors. 3.Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak, couldn’t access it in a tablet or phones, so indoor entertainment was a struggle. 4. Bathroom - two / four lights were not working, so we showered in dim lighting, the whole shower system was rusty and needs changing asap. 5. There was a broken Iron, had to ask for working one which was done ASAP thanks to Zoya for speedy response when contacted.

The staff was warm and welcoming and helpful, the environment was calm and clean

The apartment is on the second floor so had to drag baggage up the stairs. The staff was however on ground to assist with most of the luggage for a late check in at 10pm

Well equipped , comfy and good location.

Curtains did not keep the light out , but I had an eye mask so didn’t wake up with the sun ☺️

The property was generally clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to Southend beach and had shops nearby to buy supplies. There was also a lovely park about a 10-minute walk (Priory Park) which my kids really enjoyed. We were also met and helped out by a lovely lady, Zoya, who was a star. It was also really helpful to have parking on site.

The property and it's contents are quite basic but gave us what we needed for a short stay. Some of the items, like the shower, could definitely do with an update. It's also quite a noisy block as the front door bangs loudly and it's very easy to hear anyone who is coming/going inside the property.
