Le Pommier Doux, maison d'hôte du Domaine du Château d'Argeronne

A great location in the grounds of the Chateau. The room is in a beautiful old period house. It was very big with a really big comfortable bed and evrything you would need. Breakfast was good - continental self service. Other than meeting the manager on arrival there were no staff visible at all during our brief (one night) stay. This suited us just fine!

Entorno espectacular, habitación muy amplia y cómoda, asi como la cama. La atención correcta, no excesivame te lejos de la autopista. Disponibilidad de aparcamiento.

Very nice Location. The location is wonderful and quiet. The building is special and adjacent to  Château d’Argeronne On arrival we were a little puzzled as we couldn't find signs to find the place. Once we arrived the hospitable landlady told us some history about the Chateau and the place where we had our room as this  was originally built as a carriage house with beautiful  woodwork.  As it was beautiful weather we spent some time in the garden enjoying the view and reading a book in a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.  The breakfast was continental style with home made jam served with baquette / croissants and Brioche bread all more than enough and just fine.

Maybe it could be an idea for future guests, that the signposting to find the accommodation can be improved. You could get the idea, that you arrived at the wrong address.

The view and surrounding are very nice. Big rooms and comfortable beds.

No sigens to the place. Luckily we found someone to ask for direction. Not clean enough. Breakfast was o.k. but not enough products for the number of guests.
