Great place to stay in a very quirky town.

This was my second stay at the Buurs sport hotel, I liked the friendly reception and bar staff. The bar served good food at a reasonable price and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. The sauna, swimming pool and gym are available to guests although the pool was often occupied by private sessions for children’s swimming lessons and aquarobics. There is a lovely chill out lounge attached to the sauna where you can sit in your robe and order food and drinks from the bar and read a book. This is really a small hotel attached to a sports centre but this adds to it’s charm. The rooms were cleaned every day and everything was functional. There’s parking outside and it’s only a short walk into town whether it be in Belgium or Holland or both.

The WiFi didn’t reach my room with a strong enough signal and i couldn’t get mobile data in the room. If I carefully moved to a certain location I could get one bar of wifi enough to watch YouTube and send emails on my phone. I would have liked more time to enjoy the hotel facilities but I was working so didn’t get much chance that’s not the hotels fault.

A pleasant stay but missed the ability to swim in the indoor pool.

Breakfast was included in the price. They had secure parking for our bikes in the back. They had 2 swimming pools and a sauna. The location was quiet and easy to find.

The indoor pool was closed for hotel guests because swim lessons were being given. This was very disappointing. This left us with only the choice of the outdoor no clothing pool for which my 14 year old was not allowed. The selection of basic breakfast items was lacking for example croissants and cornflakes cereal. The tables were not set for breakfast. We had to ask for plates and flatware. In addition, we had to ask for OJ. The person on duty for breakfast was clearly not doing her job.

Good value place to stay in Baarle-Nassau

As the name suggests, it has sporting facilities, such as a gym, which are open for use by guests. Not too far to walk into town. Good-sized room.

Left a bad taste in our mouths

The room was OK, and there was a back door to a nice grass. Breakfast was also OK.

We were told at the evening we arrived that we can use the facilities of the hotel in the morning, but the pool was occupied with a swimming lesson, and the spa was closed till 11:30. Really annoying getting up thinking we can go swimming to discover otherwise.

The strictly minimum

Nice sport facilities and pool with sauna

Spare the sport facilities nothing else. Amenities to the strictly minimum room that needs renovation, sound and heat isolation - choose spring/summer instead as it was tempered to cold- and staff overworked. If you stay on Sunday the sauna and pool is closed. In fact it is A sport business that name itself a hotel.

Comfortable, clean and handy for fitness and sport

Everything is very at hand, close and easy for fitness, tennis, the pool, yoga or a massage. We had a nice and relaxed sport stay and the personnel was very friendly! Facilities are clean and great standard. Food in the restaurant is very good too. I really enjoyed my stay. :)

Some (minor) things in the room could use a little maintenance.

Excellent place for escape

Everything was great! I love the staff! They were super friendly and always tried to help. Everywhere was very clean and precautions were taken against covid 19. There is a restaurant in the hotel that offers lunch dinner drinks and snack and protions on the dish are quite big and good quality of food. Jacuzzi is not available because of covid however there are different type of sauna room such as 80 90degrees or infra red. And it feels like private saunas. And you can tell from the smell that the pool aqua was well-disinfected. The open air pool is quite remote with trees surrounding it.

Breakfast could have been better but it is still good.

The rooms are sober with no fridge or coffee service. The tv has little choice and is a little screen high on the wall. They advertise an indoor and outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was closed when we were there and the outdoor pool is part of a sauna where you have to go naked. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep and would be difficult for some people, especially with luggage. If you are going to use their facilities it is nice and probably a good value, but otherwise look for something else.

Ontbijt was prima. Was ook bij de prijs inbegrepen. Parkeergelegenheid.

Zeer gedateerde kamer. Badkamer met toebehoren gewoon totaal niet op orde. Schimmel was duidelijk zichtbaar. Op zondag max. om 10.00 uitchecken niet van deze tijd. Warm en benauwd ondanks dat het buiten 10 graden was.

De locatie tov het centrum.

Het is prima als sportcomplex, maar als hotel vind ik het matig en kan een flinke opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Zowel de kamers als het restaurant zijn niet gezellig. Wij hadden twee kamers gereserveerd en in één van de badkamers hing een heel klein toiletwastafeltje en dat was niet fijn.

Vreselijk hotel, ga er niet heen als je ook nachtrust wil hebben!

De welness en sportfaciliteiten.

De kamer en de enorme geluidsoverlast. Het hotel sluit 's nachts en er is geen personeel aanwezig. Je kan via de nooduitgang je kamer bereiken. Het hotel werd door de andere gasten gebruikt als feestlocatie, de hele nacht door herrie, op de ramen en deuren bonzen, schreeuwen en ga zo maar door. We hebben geen oog dicht kunnen doen hierdoor.

Basic, maar zeker in orde en mogelijkheid om een ontspannen weekend te beleven.

Uitgebreid en vers ontbijt met vriendelijk personeel. De welnessfaciliteiten zijn al redelijk oud, maar wel in orde. Het buitenzwembad was zalig fris na de hete sauna's. Het binnenzwembad en de fitness hebben we niet bezocht.

De koelkast op de gang was heel vuil toen we toekwamen. De dag erna was deze wel schoongemaakt.
