It was very beautiful property with amazing views of Lucca. It’s a vintage farmhouse that was very quaint and spacious with beautiful outdoor dining area. Giovanna was very friendly and accommodating. She was a friendly and relaxed host. She was very helpful to us with all of our questions. The property is so beautiful and my daughter loved the fireflies in the evening. We tried her olive oil and wine and they were excellent. It’s a short distance to Lucca city center. I very special and place !!

Breathtaking vineyard stay

Our time at Fabbrica Di San Martino was absolutely wonderful. The surroundings are breathtaking – peaceful, beautifully kept, and full of charm. The room was stunning, with every detail carefully considered to create comfort and style. But what truly made the experience special was the incredible people who run the place. So warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. We felt taken care of in the best way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and inspiring getaway.

Amazing

Our favorite stay in our Tuscany road trip. Giovanna is an amazing host and the property is just fantastic, it feels homely and authentic whilst still providing amazing and luxurious experience. The property is so characterful and beautiful, by far the most spacious place we stayed. The swimming pool and grounds are amazing to spend time in and Lucca is a fabulous city.

Giovanna is amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. The place itseld is a gem, it has stunning views, and the interior feels just like home, reminded me of my childhood (thought I'm not from Italy). Breakfast was great too.

An unexpected peaceful natural beautiful place.

Location is stunningly beautiful, peaceful. Our apartment was authentic rustic quiet and comfortable with sofas, daybed, plenty of cook wear. Giovanna has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. we did not want to leave.

A lovely country experience near Lucca

We liked that it was rural. It was an old authentic country house. It was comfy. It was sort of quirky as it was genuine old so loved some of the period pieces. It wasn’t luxury but it was comfy. We had rain so couldn’t use the pool or sit out under the amazing grape vine seated area of our own private area which looked amazing. It really had everything but not grand. Just as I say comfy. The owners were so lovely and so many supplies given free to use. Their wine is amazing and you can buy. Honestly top quality. Also their own olive oil. Was a lovely relaxing stay.

Probably the bathroom and the kitchen sink. They were old but clean. I think it didn’t help being a cold wet day.

there was unfortunately no fresh breakfast due to COVID regulations but the hosts made sure we had a lot of prepackaged options in our suite in the winter months you stay in the smaller cottage, not the main villa. it was nonetheless very lovely

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Fabricca di San Martino! The location and view is absolutely breathtaking and Giuseppe and Giovanna made us feel very accomodated at their property. The wine tasting was enjoyable, especially learning about the wines they produced and biodynamic methods in general. This was definitely a highlight of our Italy trip! Can very warmly recommend to stay here :-)

Incredible setting, staying in a wonderful 18th century villa (for the suite) with in the distance a view over the beautiful city of Lucca. Very helpful and friendly owner.

Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful with a fantastic view and lots of history to the estate. They make amazing wine as well. The family running the place are so friendly and you really feel truly welcome. Definitely coming back!
