The location close to Sagrada Familia and close to the metro was perfect for exploring the city. (And even with this location, the area was very calm and quiet during the night.) The communication with the staff prior to check-in and check-out was very great. Although we arrived late, we were able to easily check-in outselves using the access codes (which were also great since we didn't have to carry a key around during the trip, and used the acces codes instead.) Overall, a great place for the price if you're looking for a simple room to only spend the night while exploring the city.

The noise isolation was not the best, since you could hear someone walking in the hallway quite easily. However the hostel is very small and and was very calm and quiet, so I cannot complain about any excessive noise during the night. There was only one small window into the courtyard which didn't provide much light, but it made it super easy to sleep well the whole night.

Location in the Gràcia area was very nice. Room was quiet and cool. No traffic or any other noise was heard. The staff were very friendly and helpful

There was a ‘drain’ smell that seemed to emanate from the plug in the shower, at least for the first day. There was no real window, making the room a little claustrophobic.
