The hotel is 8 to 10 minutes from Sagrada Familia by foot, so the location is excellent. There is a metro station at a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was very polite and very helpfull. I asked for a room on the last floor and the staff did everything in their power to ensure that. I really appreciated that. I would say the value for money score is pretty good.

The ventilation of the souterrain parking was either linked to the ventillation of my room or really close to it, because the whole time there some sound like blowing wind or something like that. The room was relatively small and there was no chair or/and desk. And I am not whether this is valid for the whole hotel, but the room I stayed in needs some renovation, since the wallpapee in the bathroom was kind of falling off and the ceiling was in stains.

The hotel is close to a subway station (Alfons X) and to the Sagrada Familia (10min walk), and offers a tasty breakfast with local fruits and charcuterie. The staff was also generally very pleasant and welcoming.

While the room was in general fine, there were quite a few unpleasant features that we did not expect in a 4-star hotel. For instance, the AC stopped running when we took the key card with us, leaving the room to heat up uncomfortably during the hot summer day. There was also remarkably little storage space (two drawers), in part because of design choices (sleek night tables may look good but offer no space for personal objects). The fridge was basically unusable because its door and the door of the cupboard in which it was encased, opened in opposite directions. The walk-in shower was extremely slippery, and its sliding door was affixed with a handle only on the outside - the inside only has two sharp, protruding squares, which were useless to move the door. While none of these issues were dramatic on their own, they generated a surprising amount of frustration altogether, especially in a hotel of that standing.

Good location in nice area but nowhere near Park Guell as advertised.

Shower was a dribble. Breakfast very average and staff useless and just played tv on their phone really loud, were not around, spoke little English. Seemed very understaffed. The guy who checked me in was weird.
